I’m not really a musical fan, actually before tonight I don’t think I’ve ever been to a musical in my life. I’m still not a fan of musicals but that didn’t stop me from enjoying the performance tonight by the Kuwait Little Theatre. Right now they have Grease running and as of this post they still had one day left where tickets weren’t sold out.

Going on Friday – 24th…just can’t wait! Grease was a childhood favourite and it would be lovely to catch it in a Theatre format this time!
I went with a friend last night, mt first time to the Kuwait theatre and was somewhat disappointed. The movie is so much fun, so much energy and great character and i just felt bored for much of the show yesterday. i know they are not real actors and all but it was a bit rough. 🙁
Took your recommendation Mark but was told they were sold out and couldn’t accommodate half our group. Got some seats tho and then sat next to at least 10 empty chairs. Shame! Some nice performances but hard to hear over the very loud band – they need better sound – and lighting. Felt like i’d stepped back in time to the dark ages. A few good performers. Didn’t really feel it came together the way it should. Remember seeing it years back in the US. Had more direction there I guess. Not sure I’d make the trek back out to Ahamdi again. Don’t think you should judge all musicals on this experience. Haha.
Went last night, It was as you described it. Fun. I’d recommend it.
