Video game consoles have become a lot harder to find, some like the Nintendo Switch are pretty much sold out everywhere while base models of other consoles like the PS4 and Xbox One quickly disappeared off the shelves with only their more expensive special edition or game bundle versions left to buy. And the fact that Rihab Complex is closed really limited your options to finding a console at a reasonable price.
But, it’s now become easier to get a hold of consoles as more shipments have started arriving into the market. If you’re looking to pick up a video game console to kill some time during curfew, here are a bunch of places you might find them at:

Good ole Blink taking advantage of the consumer demand by selling the Nintendo Switch Lite “Zacian & Zamazenta Edition” for 100KD when it was previously listed between 75KD and 80KD a couple weeks ago.
They sell the regular Switch Lite for 79kd, the Zacian & Zamazenta Edition is more expensive because it’s a special edition hence the 99kd price tag. (it’s 107kd on Amazon for example).
Fair enough. Just spoke to a rep from Blink and he told me they will be receiving a shipment of Switches (Regular, Lite and Special Editions) early next month and the prices will drop apparently.

Honestly, the first thing I did when lock down was first announced was buy a Nintendo Switch. Super glad I did that.

i bought something in January from Xcite and they messed up my order and they send me Remington hair clippers, after talking to support, we got to an agreement that they can take the extra 5kd from my knet, not thinking barbers will close i just threw it under my bed. i honestly think its a angel that send it to me haha. because its the best thing that has happened this year to me!

I have never gotten any Nintendo product since in Kuwait they’re sold for WAYYY more than they should be. In the US, a switch lite is 200 dollars, which is around 62 KD. And that is a reasonable price that I’d be willing to pay right now to get a switch lite. But instead, in Kuwait they sell them for 79+ KD, which in my opinion is too much for a device which doesn’t have any sort of amazing performance, and for which games are 20 KD a piece. Keep in mind the different between 62 and 79 is 17 KD. That’s a whole game.
And i’m not saying that they should drop the prices to the prices in the US, but I would definitely buy it if it was in the 65-69 range.

In Kuwait you can get it for KD75 which is cheaper than buying it from the US. So when you say wayyyy more you actually mean it costs KD7.5 more in Kuwait without the shipping. Considering the purchasing power here is higher it’s basically the same thing.
Kuwait is smaller than the U.S. the market is huge over there. everything has to be shipped to Kuwait, that is why most things here are a little bit more than what they would be in the states. my perfume i buy locally in kuwait is 12kd from the souq, when i buy it in New Jersey it’s 49kd. because its being shipped from kuwait to the states. same goes for the stuff being shipped to kuwait 🙂
Nintendo was never about performance, they’re about quality games that provide so much fun. I have much more fun playing Splatoon, Super Smash, and Mario Kart with my friends online, than with other systems
