Seriously? You can actually buy alcohol at SULTAN! All you have to do is buy a certain brand of mouthwash. Non halal gelatin too it’s in pop tarts.

Don’t worry boys the real stuff is with the police, 😉 thats just piss and apple juice on the ground, they selling it drinking it and having a reaaaaaaal goooooood taaaiiiimeee. 😉 awww yeaaaah….allllll riiiiight…

Lets not forget. How they are confiscating arms these days, lets just hope this time their warehouse doesn’t get robbed again 🙂

GG

+1 do people really think the guys could stand there and watch all of the alcohol be destroyed? That’s leftover tea in those bottles! I bet people fight over working in the airport security, they get to ‘confiscate’ all of those bottles people try to sneak in which end up at those underground parties. Maybe newbies to Kuwait might gasp but old timers know what’s really going on.

ugh. similar CAT bulldozers are used by the israeli ‘defense’ force to illegally destroy palestinian homes and land. CAT destroys everything.

just like dont blame the troops with the actual guns, blane the govt? yeeeeeeeah that’s severely lacking in logic. What about hitler? dont blame the nazis blame the midget!?>

what’s even more funny is that classic tactic you used to create the impression of strength in your argument based on fabricated numbers. worse than fabricated numbers ie ‘ALL’ But feel free to continue, you’ve made at least one person laugh

Oh come on, you’ve been hating on many total strangers in the comments section before too! Lol

But I do agree with ur first comment :p

destroying alcohol means that you’re a hypocrite? wow what a weird logic you have.

you should be smarter than drink alcohol in kuwait, after all dubai is not that far. hell you could lots of s***t in bahrain for half of the price if you don’t mind drunk saudis 😉

I censored “sh#t” because I know mark is a profanity nazi 😉 just kidding but seriously tho you deleted my last comment because of the f word…

i think he’s talking about people who drink alcohol in their private homes or when they travel abroad but then support the alcohol ban when in public as if they weren’t consumer themselves.

people support the ban out of fear (public shaming) just look at nabeel al-fadel he shamed himself when he defend alcohol. like literally everyone in my class in college felt the need to curse him in front of the doctor and cast him out as a non-kuwaiti (especially the girls… they were fiercely angry)

ok now I just saw the hypocrisy in my comment :p

but anyway what I meant is that kuwait is a conservative country (it have been this way since the last decade or so.. OK maybe people lost it at the 70’s but we don’t talk about that)

it doesn’t worth the risk to drink in kuwait, and if you’re a kuwaiti its even worse since you might hurt your family reputation (hence when people here talk about a known alcohol drinker they would shame him and his family with words like skeer,sarsri,9ye3..etc)

“This is blasphemy! This is madness!”
“Madness…?
[shouting]
“This is Kuwaitttttttttttt!”

Kuwait is the definition of hypocrisy. Many Kuwaitis have bars at homes and farm houses but they put in jail the poor asians (not british, not americans because they are racist too) for having one bottle. They can round up millions of bottles from these Kuwaitis.

Being Islamic country, they should know better that there is special area(not diwaniya) reserved in hell for hypcrites.

heck even for these rich kuwaitis who have bars at home, who do you think is doing their shipping? had a boss once who got a MENU he could tick off to show what he wanted. if the shipment ever got caught, it was the asians who got put in jail but this asshole just carried on regardless. fuck the system, the system is broken in favour of the assholes

My name says it all if people know what I am talking about. That’s where you can find some locals.

i know a very very nice restaurant that sells booz right in the center of kuwait 10kd for 1/2 litre
beat that
p.s its on the menu with a totaly different name

you know, if you just have a basic knowledge of fermentation and distillation, you avoid a shitload of hassle. For personal use of course 😛

But the really important question here is what happens to all the hash they confiscate? Pretty sure they incinerate it. Any one know where? maybe we could just hang around while the stuff burns..

whaaaaaaaat? I assume you mean because drugs are preferable? Not so man, some people like alcohol for reasons other than drunkenness. I love a good single malt, a good gin, and even some girly rum cocktails. They taste great and give you a happy vibe. See that’s the beauty of not being repressed, people dont always do stuff to get shitfaced. Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with a nice joint now and then but i tend to leave that for countries where its more permissible and the quality is controlled.

This is just sad and hypocritical and yet another example of the tyranny of the majority. Most Emaratis, Bahrainis, Qataris, Omanis don’t drink alcohol but they don’t have a problem with it being served in strictly controlled environments, as they know that in the 21st century it is a necessary measure to attract top talent to work there.

The anti-alcohol brigade in Kuwait always uses scare tactics to portray drinkers only as marauding drunks, hell-bent on destruction and other “immoral” behaviour when the truth is the majority of drinkers simply want to have a nice cold beer after work, a delicious bottle of wine with their meals and so on.

If we don’t want drunken Kuwaiti lager louts and binge drinkers roaming the streets (and I certainly don’t!), lets not have any bars or even duty free alcohol… Lets follow the UAE/Qatar model and only serve alcohol in hotels and licensed restaurants and make the alcohol license tough to obtain. And if anyone objects, they can go eat at the malls

Unfortunately the Kuwaiti government simply does not have the stomach or brain power for the hard work that is required to properly regulate alcohol consumption.. just like it doesn’t have them for any hard word of any kind.

There were 28 different brands of non-alcoholic beer sold in Kuwait. Taste of beer is an acquired taste. So how did they acquire it? Go figure!
