This has to be the most disappointing fight ever. I was looking forward to it for a month now, Kimbo Slice was supposed to fight the legendary Ken Shamrock but Shamrock canceled before the fight because he suffered a cut while training. So Kimbo ended up fighting some other guy and ended up getting knocked out 14 seconds into the first round! What a disappointment. [YouTube]

this guy was a freakin bubble waiting to burst..come on, beating homeless people in the street and makin your self a “champ” without fighting anyone worthwhile is silly, eliteXC (CBS) hyped that guy up so that they could hijack viewers from UFC, the guy is just a streetfighter, which means your shit when you face an mma fighter. even a loser like the guy who knocked kimbo who was rejected from the UFC 4 years ago!….
Well Kimbo has been fighting MMA bums anyway, so he’s yet to actually establish himself in the world of mixed martial arts. All the hype revolves around his career as an internet street fighter. That said, I do think that Kimbo has what it takes to become a great fighter and he definitely has a great team behind him. As for this fight, this is basically a fluke. I don’t think the pink guy would’ve lasted against Kimbo if it weren’t for that mistake he did. Kimbo basically fell into the pink guy’s fist. Anyone can get caught, and in MMA that’s often all what it takes to win a fight. Pink dude definitely didn’t outskill or overpower Kimbo in any way.
Damnnnn Blondie got lucky 😉 It dont mattrer if Kimbo aint trained or never been up against a professional. Had he not made the fatal flaw blondie would be used as a towel to wipe up his own shit off the mat .. not dancing … cause Kimbo would have plummeled him down….you can see the astonishement and surprise on blondie’s face. Even he cant believe what happened ……… yup fucking lucky blondie ..

But although he’s so well built that its even hard to beat him with techiques..
like Tank Abott before him, in time Fighters will easily read his movements making him great target for the new guys who want to prove themselves!!

Kimbo is learning the basics of MMA, don’t get me wrong, I hate him, he is a one dimentional fighter, and will still be regardless of training, the only famous UFC fighter he fought was Tank Abbot, and Tank was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay out of shape, and we all know how one dimentional Tank is (he is a fav.), I don’t think Kimbo can face Randy or Chuck, he might have a chance against Bob Sabb but only cause Bob is in the same category…….!!!
I’m on the other hand can’t wait for November as Captain America is facing Brock Lisner…….!!!

Kimbo has a great potential in MMA. Keep in mind that he didnt know who he was fighting untill like 30 min before the fight ! however, without even thinking about it, he accepted the fight like a man. Everyone in mma has his ups and downs, even shamrock lost against tito for like 4 consecutive times but he is still a legend in UFC .. WTH ppl give the guy some time !

Kimbo reminds me of Houston Alexander, scary looking guy with a lot of power and yet very one dimensional. I laughed my ass off after watching this last fight because you could see how petrified pinky was even after that fight. Kimbo sucks and he’s not going to prove himself. Too old, too one dimensional, too slow.
He was a good sport about it though so I’m not fully gonna bash the guy, just stating my opinion.
No it wasn’t luck. It’s true anything can happen in MMA but if Kimbo was a good fighter he would have recovered once he was on the ground, as many fighters do. Kimbo maybe has a lot of potential but he was way overhyped at this point in his career. The comparison to Houston Alexander is a good one, he impressed so many people in his 1st 2 fights but he’s too 1 dimensional and easy to counter his strengths. By the way, Seth (pinkie) also had the disadvantage of having to face Kimbo at the last minute.
Now Lesnar vs Kimbo would be interesting, 2 very hyped fighters fighting to see who deserves the hype….my pick is Lesnar.
Kimbo is a loser, you mark my words, he will not come back from this. i could hame half a dozen fighters that would have done him some real damage. He’s just there for the hype.
