A few hours ago Kuwait Motor Town uploaded a coming soon trailer highlighting the various activities that will be available at the race track. I’m super excited since it looks like it’s finally happening. Check out the trailer above or on [YouTube]

It will start as soon as the Facilities Management contract would be signed. The result of the tender is declared, hope to start it soon…
That logo though…
I take it you don’t like Kellogg’s
I love the logo! It is simply amazing!
This is great news for me as racer for over three decades but being in Kuwait, it is unfortunately down to “seeing is believing”. I was part of the Dubai Autodrome start-up in 2004 and that took 10 years to get organized so ones expectations for KMT have to be realistic.
where do new drivers go if they want to practice before they actually hit the road?
At the track if it’s your first time usually you can ask an instructor to come with you in the car. You could also go out as a passenger in their car so you could learn the track and braking points.
Real question is, are those GT2’s rentable for trackday coaching?
or any track based sportscars rentable from the motortown?
Not everyone can afford those badboys
i highly doubt it
GT2s are not usually used for coaching first timers.
They definitely are not gonna rent out GT2’s. And if you’re a beginner, you won’t be able to handle that level of performance on the track. You’ll want to start small like a Toyota GT86 or MX-5 and hone your skills before you start climbing up.
