According to my lawyer I can’t mention the name of the supermarket. I also had to mute out the audio in the video since the guy recording mentions the name so I replaced the audio with music that sounds like something out of a Nintendo game.
On a side note is it bad that I am more upset with the fact that I can no longer find Haribo gummy bears, Dove Men+Care Antiperspirant or Sensodyne Extra Fresh Toothpaste at the branch I frequent more than I care about this rat?
Also just got the following response from the supermarket:
Hello Mark,
****** is aware of what is being circulated and is investigating it, as ****** takes pest control very seriously and deals with the best and most reliable pest control companies in Kuwait, making sure all hygiene standard are exceeded. Our Operations team, in coordination with our Pest company, has done a full and detailed check of the store and no issues were found till date. (Noting that Prior to the video being circulated in a day, the store had gone through the normal scheduled deep clean exercise with no issues found)

well i can find my deo at the Salmiya Coop. So I now buy a box which I think contains 8 cans at a time, hate that coop so I buy in bulk so I can only visit them once a month.
haribo and toothpaste are available at Lulu which is a 10 minute walk from my place. I just hate shopping there since they don’t have normal carry baskets (wtf lulu?) just those baskets you put on the floor and pull. As a tall person I hate them because the handle isn’t long enough and then I need to bend down every time i need to put something in or take something out. Plus place is always crowded so its not very therapeutic or enjoyable shopping there.

This mentality of “no one is allowed to post anything negative about me” is killing this country. No one should be above reproach, and without pointing out the flaws, businesses/individuals will feel no need to improve themselves.
People need to start developing thicker skin around here…
i didn’t think i would have an issue posting name and stuff since this is a fact not a rumor thats circulating or anything. but i’ve learned not to argue with my lawyer, probably being extra safe about it.
What about in the comments? Are you responsible for anything in the comments? I mean the new stupid laws make you liable for retweets and whatsapp messages by others if you’re group admin.

I do not understand why these places cannot come under scrutiny.
Is your lawyer specifically trying to protect you since you are a foreigner and may (probably will) have to endure unfair and unequal treatment, or is there an actual law prohibiting this?
I need to hear about The Secret Company’s name — and said company needs to take responsibility of what happens, regardless of their claim that they adhere to “normal scheduled cleanup”
Also, is it an issue if YOU post it or if it is posted on your blog (i.e. I post the name here in the comments section)

It sure as hell looks like they take pest control very seriously! How about they cut the crap for once and admit the mistakes businesses do in this country for once? Also, I feel like the law is one-sided and favors businesses greatly when it comes to defamation. I find the fact that you can’t name them is quite infuriating. (But we all know which (T) one (S) it(C) is.
I shop there every Tuesdays, it’s been over 2 years since I’ve last seen the lobster tank. I’d say this is a very old video.
