There is a new and still vacant building on the Gulf Road called MEDC which I pass by every night. What caught my attention is that every time I pass it they seem to have a different pixel art up created by turning on and off the lights of the different vacant spaces. Last night they had a flower emoji up but I’ve also seen different messages in Arabic spelled out.
No idea who has the time or patience for this but I keep imagining it being some creative building caretaker who is doing this out of boredom.

Looks like the bartone logo :p
There is most probably a programmed system installed to turn on and off the lights in different rooms, I highly doubt someone is doing it manually
Bright advertising or other overbright illumination along the roadside should be banned full stop.
May not apply to this story here, but can someone tell me which genius agreed to allow highly distracting, mega illuminated screens displaying adverts etc to be placed in full view of vehicle drivers? When one of these screens switches or flashes between scenes, particular white, it’s as though a camera flash has literally gone off a few centimetres from your eyeballs.
I fully agree! Have raised this point so many times in general conversation but no one seems to care that is is dangerously distracting for drivers.
I was shocked the first time I came across that, at night in Salmiya! I literally thought someone was taking photos!
The one outside Marina Crescent at eye level is BLINDING!!!
It’s automated…..
