I read somewhere online about the latest Ford Fiesta review on the show Top Gear being the best car review ever and I just watched it and would have to agree. I am not going to give any spoilers just watch the clip above. [YouTube]

I didn’t know the new Challenger was already in Kuwait but it looks like its here (imported) and someone is selling it on q8car. Asking price… KD19,500. It costs around KD12,000 on eBay so if you’re interested just import one yourself and save a few thousand dinars. [Link]

While out playing with my Tamiya Frog today I hit this big rock and ended up dislocating the drive shaft from the rear axle and ripping up the joint boot. Its not a problem though since I already took apart the rear of the Frog and will fix it and put it back together again tonight. Just need to pass by the My Toy workshop in Muthana and pick up some grease and a new joint boot. This is what I love about these RC cars, you can take them apart and put them back together or swap out parts when something goes wrong just like real cars.

Update2: Its 11:12PM and it still hasn’t started, there is another show on so I guess the timing I got was wrong.

They’re going to need something a lot faster than a Mustang if they expect to catch up with some of the cars in Kuwait.

I heard about this earlier in the week and a reader called Aadel just sent me pictures of it. Early Friday morning a Ferrari was involved in a high speed crash on the Gulf Road, I don’t know what caused the crash but judging by the pictures the car got thorn torn up into pieces and then caught fire. Will someone in Kuwait please buy this car? Someone is selling a 1979 BMW M1 on eBay for KD50,000 which is a steal when you consider the fact that soulless Gallardos go for more. This is one really incredible car. [eBay]

I took my car yesterday to the Al Falah car wash to get it detailed by their Showhine service since everyone I know takes their car there. Marzouq posted about them before and last year it was the official Gulf Run car wash so it was a no-brainer choosing them to do the detailing.

I took an appointment on Saturday to drop off the car on Monday but I got lucky since someone canceled their appointment and I ended up dropping my car off on Sunday instead. The whole detailing process took 24 hours and when I went to pick up the car they told me to take all the time I wanted and to go over every inch of the car to try and find a spec of dust which as expected I didn’t find. They then told me to remove this small tape from the seats which revealed a dark red spot. Turns out that was the color of the seats when I brought it in and they were able to return it to the original red color. The exterior of the car got polished, the rims got polished, the seats got conditioned and the whole car was just sparkling.

They were really great and very professional but the best part is they aren’t an international franchise but a local business. The detailing cost me KD40, originally they quoted me KD50 but since the Z4 is like half a car I was able to negotiate the price down a bit. I would definitely recommend them so try them out if you need detailing done.. They’re located in Kuwait City (if Tri-Star is on your right, keep going straight past where Al-Mulla used to be, past the first traffic light and then take a right on the second traffic light where you will find them on the right corner).
