What’s operating during the total lockdown?

If you’re wondering about courier companies, as of now they aren’t allowed to function. So no shipments can come in from abroad. Hopefully that changes.

Thanks Nibaq

The gas cylinder refilling stations are working, but how do we go out to get one. The permits are available only for shopping centers and medical emergencies. Let me know if have any information in this regards.

Most coops now have social media accounts try finding your local one and they should have a number u can call/whatsapp so they can deliver and pick up empty cylinders! That’s what i did!

Any word on the airport? The news says that you can get a pass for incoming and outgoing flights. Does this mean that the airport is open for those expats with residency that are stranded abroad

Airport is open for people leaving, and Kuwaitis coming back. Expats with residencies aren’t allowed to come back yet, not unless they’re married to a Kuwaiti.

For Salmiya residents, from Block 1 to Block 6, gas delivery number 99527830
For Salmiya residents, from Block 7 to Block 12, the gas delivery number 99139968 Calling from 9 am to 3:30 pm

Anybody knows how to get our monthly diabetes medicine from area clinic, the clinic is not available in the curfew pass link.

What area do you live in? There was medicine deliveries before this full curfew, I can share with you the number for your area (if you let me know which area it is) to call and see if they still deliver.

Thanks Ali for the reply. I live in reggae and my clinic is also in the same place, opposite durar complex.

This is a number to call for any emergencies during the full curfew for residents of the Capital Governorate. You can call and inquire about getting your medication. 5573 4035.

Here are some numbers of hospitals you can contact. Try to call or send them messages on WhatsApp. These numbers were posted for medicine deliveries but that was before the full curfew, they might still be delivering. They request a message on WhatsApp that includes:

Full name
Civil ID number
Your file number at the hospital
Medication needed
Your address

Sabah Hospital 9763 2660
Farwaniya Hospital 5088 0852
Amiri Hospital 5088 0699
Ibn Sina Hospital 9961 3948

These are the hospitals that I think near you. If you know which hospital you should be getting your medication from post here and I will get back to you.

Good luck!

Last time I took my medicines in March before the partial curfew and all this chaos started. The pharmacy gave me 2 months supply and told not to come to the clinic for April.
2 months will finish by next week, so I am anxious about how to get the medicines.

Ali, check Kuwait Times Website . I believe that the MOH has posted a bunch of whatsapp numbers on their website of Hospitals and Medical centers for various parts of the country. All you need is your civil Id number your medical file number and the medication you require.

Also just to let you know during the partial lock down I had used the same website to visit the emergency room at New Mowassat Hospital. I called the hospital and the operator provided me with their PACI number and I used it for the destination address and named the hospital.

If you can; try calling the clinic if its private and find out if they are working during the curfew and get their PACI info. Dont know about the Public Clinics. Maybe there is a site that can provide the PACI numbers for the clinic you are looking for .
