Kuwait Motor Town is set to open next month and the logo for it has now been revealed. From the reactions I’ve been seeing, most people don’t like it mostly because it looks like the Kellogg’s Special K logo. Although I don’t really like the logo, I think its fine.
It’s not a great logo by any means, but compared to other F1 circuit logos below, I think things could have been a lot worse. I mean other than the Baku City Circuit logo and probably the Red Bull Ring, most of the logos are pretty terrible. If Mexico with all their super talented designers ended up with the horrible Autodromo logo pictured below, we’re pretty lucky to end up with our Kellogg’s Special K one.

Logo haters can suck it— see you on the track yo! The Bahrain logo is cool.
Bahrain’s icon is cool but their typography and placement of it is just too corporate looking.

Bahrain’s logo is what I’d expect from an Islamic bank.
I like it. They managed to take the circuit map and turn it into an Arabesque and Islamic looking logo which represents the region. Formula 1 is an international event so its smart to have an identity that’s specific to the region. YAS Marina’s logo, on the other hand, is super generic.
I assume ‘K’ for Kuwait and an eagle? Where’s the motory inspiration in the logo? Am I missing it?

Hi, thank you for your post about our Logo, and i wanted to explain your ideas and doubts here, first it doesn’t look like a Kellogg’s K logo, please look closer, the logo icon stands for, Kuwait Capital letter, Falcon (Fastest animal on earth) and Kuwait abstracted map sky view, we didn’t take colors from Bahrain Merida Team, seriously? i dont even know this team, we deleted because we will add more things, you all can see it again in a few days! thank you Mark!
Hi ABL where you forced to think of a logo in 10secs ?
Because it doesnt look like there was alot of work done or innovation for this logo sorry.
I like the idea ok the K and the Falcon but there are many nicer ways of including them in the logo and playing around with the fonts.
I hope you will redesign it and come up with something nicer thanks
