Arby’s are finally opening their first location in Kuwait and it’s going to be in Jabriya. A few days ago they updated their instagram account with the photo above and the caption coming soon but they didn’t mention a specific date to when they were planning to open up. The location they’ve chosen is where Fuddruckers Jabriya used to be, here it is on [Google Maps]. I can’t wait!

Is it just me or are the Fuddruckers locations closing down one after the other? Is business that bad? To me it just went downhill after closing the gulf road location. That place was usually packed whenever I went. It seems it’s a case of mismanagement ever since. I still love their burgers, and I hope they don’t close down for good.

As far as I know Abdullah Al-Salem location, and Muhalab mall are still open.
RIP Gulf Road location. So many Friday lunches playing around on the slides!
Its a shame that Fudds is closing for Arbys. Reminds me of when Hungry Bunny closed for Burger King.

Actually arbys also closed down for burger king. Arbys and hungry bunny were both Homaizi foodstuff brands and were contractually obligated to close when bringing burger king because of non-compete clauses burger king imposed. Arbys was around for a while in the 80s and 90s
Arby’s even had fucking touch screen ordering displays back in the 80s at their Salmiya location. Talk about being ahead of their time…
Yeah I was going to mention that in the previous post. I loved it as a kid. I thought it was so cool doing my own order of whatever junk meal I was getting.
