i had an angelfire website before geocities. I remember angelfire had 35KB of free web space but eventually moved to goecities because they were offering a whopping 1MB of webspace for free. I still have my old webpage from 1996 somehere on my computer. My page from 1999 is still up https://unex-t.com/mark/
Shani is owned by pepsico and is sold exclusively to the region. It’s very hard to divest in general, but I think this is an easy one. Shame that something I (and assume many others) grew up thinking epitomized local brand identity turned out this way. Sad esp cause its prob very nostalgic for many but BDS. If anything economically killing something sold us exclusively to us would be a nice fuck you to them
