According to a source familiar with the project, Popeyes, the popular fried chicken chain, is opening their first location in Kuwait at the end of this month. I sadly don’t have an exact date, it was hard enough to get just this info from them.
Tanmiah, the Saudi food company that owns and operates Popeyes in Saudi Arabia are opening two branches to begin with, one in Divonne Complex in Abu al-Hasaniyah, and the other in Sky Mall in Dhajeej.
Popeyes used to operate in Kuwait until they closed down back in 2014, so it’s been nearly a decade since they were last here. The new Instagram account isn’t live yet, but I’ll update this post once it is.

There is one on US base not the first in Kuwait
1) Nobody said this was the first
2) The US base is not considered “Kuwait”. There is alcohol inside the US embassy bar as well, doesn’t mean anything.
LOL newbies
You did actually say that they are opening their first location in Kuwait. Your second point is more valid
Yes, because they don’t have any locations In kuwait at the moment
Yes, and then you said ” Nobody said this was the first”
are you just trolling?
– This isn’t the first time that Popeyes opens in Kuwait
– Popeyes used to be open in Kuwait
– This is the first Popeyes to open since they closed
Do you need anymore clarity? Want me to translate it to Arabic so you could better understand?
I’m not trolling, but you are definitely getting extra prickly and triggered. This is only about that fact that in the comments you said ” Nobody said this was the first”, which you actually said. Rather than wrongly denying that you said that, you should have channeled your energy in sticking to the point that the one in the US base doesn’t count.
I hope my point is clear to you or you can translate it to Arabic using google to understand better
Next time just read the post properly and we won’t have an issue
Sky Mall in Al-aqaila not Dhajeej
No, Sky Mall in Dhajeej NOT eqaila.
