This guy is a moron. He probably gets people praising him and adoring the tiger all the time, when he should be prosecuted and the lion taken away from him. But he’s probably a sheikh so he’s untouchable. The more people fawn over this guy and his tiger, the more acceptable it appears.

Haitham, what you’re saying is true considering the fact that the most people praise this the more acceptable it appears. However, I think every guy deep down inside wants to have a tiger or a lion as a pet. In today’s psyche having a dog is just not enough for some reason. I think it’s the “bigger is better” complex. However, the fact that you own a tiger or a lion…it’s quite a feeling of excitement. However, logic has to kick in when you think about where this animal has to be taken care of, how it will be done, your future safety, safety of others around you, and the safety of the tiger. It’s not everyday you see a tiger outside a window. Since it is a wild animal, you can never be 100% sure of his/her actions whether he/she is trained or not.
Though I must admit. There is that little bit of envy deep down. I’ve always wanted a huge tank and a great white. Then again that’s just me lol.

You’re right, MANTV, most men think of having a ferocious pet, whether a lion or tiger, shark or reptile….whatever it may be. But logic and compassion need to come into play. If you really love the animal, you don’t need to possess it; it’s a wild animal. I like your point about not knowing what a wild animal is capable of and a lot of people neglect that.
Hopefully one day it will attack him whilst he’s driving and make him crash.

In Doha, there is one guy who drives a Patrol and have a cheetah, actually few months ago also in Doha one of these animals (Maybe the same Cheetah) was hanging around the Doha University fields… It find his way to escape from the owner house and was just hanging around the city for a couple of days… Will try to find the link!
