Ice Skating

With temperatures soaring over 50 degrees it’s the perfect time to go ice skating. Entrance is just KD1.5 and that includes the rental of your ice skates. The place is usually empty during the day but fills up at night. Call ahead to see what the rink schedule is since they close for around 30-45 minutes every few hours for the zamboni to resurface the ice. The ice skating rink is located in Kuwait City right off the 1st ring road. For more information you can call them on 22411151 or 22411152.

Mark, this is becoming a trend! you sound more and more like you are advertising stuff as a marketing agent πŸ˜›

No, it’s good. People should know Kuwait has ice skating rinks. And if I’m not mistaken, this is the only Olympic-sized rink in the region.

Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, the Kuwait Ice Hockey team practises using the Big rink from 8:30-10 PM apart from Fridays which are from 8:30-10 AM. But you can still use the small rink.

Well, in last month, there was gulf championship (Ice Hockey) held at the same place. Don’t know who won and all…
And it is really nice place to visit. I am planning with some of my friends this Saturday to go there… πŸ˜›

Also Mark,
Please do tell different places like this where we can spend some nice time. There are some places already mentioned in your blogs (from MilSim to Deer Hunting and so on).

Anyone looking for skating shoes and blades in Kuwait? I have an extra available for beginner to intermediate skater level in size 2.5 B width (approximately 8 inches foot length/ 34 US dress shoes/ 35 US rubber) white.

three sessions in the morning from 10:30 am and three sessions in the evening from 6:30 pm that costs 3 kd per head. per session is 1:30 mins with 30 min break intervals.
