DJ Tranzit in Kuwait

Remember my post on the Embassy of Sound party? Well I found another video of another one of their parties. A DJ that came to Kuwait filmed his stay here and then posted the video on YouTube for all of us to enjoy. He stayed at the Hilton, had a fridge full of booze, ate some shawerma and then partied. Enjoy it before they take the video down. [YouTube]

@ Mark .. Dude why don’t you leave them alone .. they’re the only group able to throw parties in this place “Barely Twice a Year” and you’re not helpin’ here at all !

It says you can drive from one end of kuwait to the other in 45 minutes, haha, sometimes I cant make it through Salmiya that quick.

dude nothing new, there’s plenty of parties in Kuwait, if you know the right people, you’re in, if not, tough luck!

also, I’m sure Mark’s fridge is also full of booze …and burgers

@Skyline
I agree! I think its a case that everyone is aware of these parties…but its not cool you how we are openly promoting them on your blog.
If its an issue that your not invited, Im sure you have enough connections to get in…
Don’t spoil the fun for the rest of us..you know how things are in Kuwait

It’s held inside the British Embassy (sovereign territory). Nobody is getting exposed and there won’t be any crack down.
Either find a way to get an invite to the party or move on.

Flash: I don’t care about getting invited. If they don’t want me or anyone to post about their parties then they shouldn’t be uploading videos and pictures onto the Internet. I didn’t go shoot a video and upload it, they did so you should talk to them about keeping things quiet. For me this is just something interesting to post and that’s all.

Lol! Those two in the video should be celebrities in Kuwait by now πŸ˜€
The American Embassy seems smarter at avoiding the spotlight, they don’t let anyone even take their phone inside!

The biggest parties are in the basements of peoples homes. Whats the big deal about this small gig….! The alcohol ban is ludicrous for liberally minded folk.I wonder how much longer it will take close minds to open to this as have many places in the gulf.
Rules that teach people to be dishonest are not good rules at all.

AR

– ha you know nothing about this Embassy party then. been to those basements and they are a far cry from anything close.

the exclusivity is necessary to keep it running each year and the mystery is what keeps it all the more appealing! it’s a great event that is very well organized and all those who attended had a great time. why leave negative comments about the event? take the video for what it is and keep spreading the word if you like the MUSIC! the more you support the more likely it may be the event can be open to more and more people! πŸ™‚

omg!!
first of all how the hell did they get the booze??
second: Kuwait has the 2nd or 3rd largest oil reserve in world.
third: i don’t think its true that only Kuwaitis are allowed to work in the government :s
fourth: we’re the 5th richest country in the world πŸ˜€ Sweet!!!

1. can’t get people in trouble by telling the booze secret. i’m sure you could get it anywhere if you really wanted.
2. the CIA Factbook states that kuwait has the 5th largest oil reserve in the world amongst other sources.
3. you’re right, gov jobs are limited MOSTLY to citizens but are sometimes given to foreigners
4. kuwait is the 5th richest country in the world based on per capita statistics not GDP.
5. from top to bottom it would def take longer to drive across the country. since it is similar to the size of new jersey, you could drive across the country in 45 give or take depending on your speed limit πŸ™‚

Who said that they are breaking Kuwait’s law? If it was held at the British Embassy as someone mentioned earlier. Then Kuwait’s laws means NOTHING there. It’s a British space by an agreement between the two countries.
And this applies to every foreign embassy in any country.

Oh hell we still ranting about this?? Well Mark must applaud you for actually digging stuff out and igniting the dormant fire.

OK I hope this is clear by now that the embassy is allowed to do whatever it wants to and screw the rules of the country.

Second – I had no clue booze was allowed in Hilton, wow party time folks !!

for the conservative minds, wake up this is the new age…. get on with it or die complaining !!

Oh yehh forgot to mention, the video totally rocks DJ Transit is awesome, caught him at this very embassy party, was the best party ever !!

and ye Swedish house mafia …. ist kreig !!
