This is very sad news. I just read that legendary footballer Sameer Saeed is in a coma after being hit by a car while jogging. I used to really love watching Kuwait play football in the late 80s and early 90s and as a goalkeeper myself I used to really look up to Sameer Saeed. Even today he’s still one of my favorite goalkeepers of all time and I really hope he’s going to be ok. [Link]

It’s not true Mark, he’s still alive. His condition is still somewhat not too good, but inshallah he will get better in no time.

Actually it was late night near the Shalaih areas, he was jogging without any high visability jacket in the street, I’m not blaming him but I think he should have worn something reflective, anyways so the guy hit him in the pelvic region. The guy who hit him took him to the hospital.
