According to Abo Flan, a second Hungry Bunny branch is opening soon and this time in Egaila. I still haven’t been to their Jahra branch because I thought it was far but Egaila is even further. [Link]

The Real deal ? OR the shitty Saudi knock-off?
supposedly the saudi knock off is the real deal. what i remember reading is that the saudi guy came up with the idea originally and opened it in kuwait with homaizi. during the 1990 invasion he moved to saudi and opened it there. now he’s brought it back but with a different partner.
But not sure how accurate this story is.
Well, I read at P2BK that Hungry bunny is an original Kuwaiti idea …

Not really, hungry bunny is essentially a Burger king.
Its a Hungry Jack restaurant (that’s what Burger King is called in Australia).
They just throw a bunny there with the same menu and called it Hungry bunny. Hence how easy it was converted later to Burger King (They still under the same main head company).

There are already three Hungry Bunny’s around, so this will be the fourth one. There is one in Salmiya on Khansa Street. Its not bad, not great either. Its similar to Herfy in Jabriya(another Saudi burger joint).
The Salmiya one is Hungry Bunny World, it’s different.
One day i had some work in Jahra, and after the work, I went searching for Hungry Bunny, Was amazing!
I don’t recommend eating it, the beef is sheep, but say cow, which is highly doubly it is.
I give it 2/5 stars, ok fries not that good, make it 1/5 stars.
lets see, Herfy is much better, I recommend it.

Egaila is the exit after uppercrust pizzza, sam as safir fintas, its a 15 min. Drive take it quite a few times a week from salmiya
Wasn’t there a big ad from Alhomaizi group when the one in Jahra opened and we were all excited and they stated that it was not the Hungry Bunny of our childhood and that they were going to take action against it given that they had trademark rights on the name hungry bunny, or something similar? I remember that clearly because I was going crazy asking my husband to take me there last year and he almost said yes then we saw the ad and we decided against it.
Apparently nothing happened then if a 2nd branch is opening up.
