One of the things that got me excited about checking out The Burrow Life gym was their teaser photos and videos which they shared on their instagram account. They set a very trendy tone to the gym and because the production of their photos and videos were so good I just assumed they had gotten them done outside of Kuwait. Then last week I found out from a friend that all their photos and videos were shot locally by a small production house called Blank Production.
Since it turns out their office was in the same building as mine, I passed by awhile ago to meet up with them and check out their work. They’ve only been around for three months now but already from their small portfolio it’s obvious they’re super talented. You can watch their showreel above or check out their website with more of their work [Here]

Kuwait is so talented when it comes to art, design and architecture. I am not sure if people notice/realize it.
I have to disagree, the majority are not talented which is why the majority of the buildings and branding work is ugly and tasteless. But, we do have a few really talented people like these guys and some others.
I think the reason majority of the buildings are ugly because the owners hire cheap contractors/designers to build apartments that would require minimum capital. I am talking about majority of apartment buildings in this context and we all can see that all over Kuwait.
I think a good design firm would cost a lot and that is something people are not willing to do. I have seen some beautiful houses in Kuwaiti residential areas but I guess they are more inclined to pay extra for aesthetics.
That’s true but that still doesn’t change what I said. The talent pool in kuwait is extremely small.
Talent requires imagination and aspiration, two qualities that seem in short supply here. Similarly, the talent pool may be limited, but so are outlets for that talent. The country just doesn’t seem to care about or support the arts. As an expat who is a musician, I am stunned and saddened by the dearth of places for musicians to perform.
Being an architecture student here, I have been exposed to alot of talented people in arts and architecture which is a thing I didnt even know existed around here. The talent pool is growing yes, It still isn’t big but it neither is extremely small.
lol a tiny pool of talent = Kuwait is so talented
I see your point but your exaggerating
I liked the fashionista farmer shot.
I’ve found that usually the more trendy/expensive a gym is, the less actual fit people work out there.
Maybe that’s because expensive gyms make gymming more appealing to a wider audience. I’d personally find gymming at oxygen intimidating because everyone looks like the hulk. So the fact a gym is attracting more unfit people than other gyms is a good thing. Eventually those unfit people end up losing weight or toning up and get fitter.
I was not aware you can use gym as a verb. 1st time for everything I guess.
Gym should be about weight loss or body building. Not fashion and trend.
It could be anything you want it to be stop being so single track minded
What I really liked about the video is it keeps you wanting more. But I do wish they had connected the parts of the video a bit better and tried to incorporate the gym itself in the video. All in all I enjoyed it and enjoyed the quality. Just hoped it would be more easy to understand.
The video is their showreel of various projects. if you want to watch the videos specifically related to the gym u need to check them out on their website.
Oh alright, so this was just to showcase what they can do. If so then I have nothing bad to say about it, I thought it might have been that but I guess I understood wrong XD. Thanks Mark for clarifying.
Co_Founder is a friend of mine, really great talent I’ve seen his work first hand.
When did you open an office Mark?
I didn’t open an office
But you mentioned that their office was in the same building as yours?
