The Best Burger in Kuwait?

You would think this would be an easy post to do for me but with so many burger options to choose from, it was actually pretty difficult to find my very top three. Here are the results:

#1 BBT (KD1.750)
Bun: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Looks: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Accessibility: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Taste: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Price: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Overall: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

#2 White Robata (KD5.000)
Bun: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Looks: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Accessibility: ⭐⭐
Taste: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Price: ⭐⭐
Overall: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

#3 Little Ruby’s (KD4.750)
Bun: ⭐⭐⭐
Looks: ⭐⭐⭐
Accessibility: ⭐⭐⭐
Taste: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Price: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Overall: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

My biggest difficulty with putting this list together was the fact that there are so many great burgers in Kuwait, but in the end, it really came down to which places I personally keep going back to. Up until a few days ago I had even decided McDonald’s should be on this list since the Big Mac is probably the burger I have the most.

The BBT is a delicious burger thats well priced and easily accessible. There are no longer any queues and it’s a pickup place so you’ll have to eat in your car but I love that. White Robata on the otherhand isn’t a place you’d associate with burgers, but the owner of the place also has Burger Boutqiue and OFK which at point also had my favorite burger. The wagyu burger at White Robata is extremely delicious and melted in my mouth like hot butter, but, if you don’t like your burgers cooked medium rare and bloody then you’re not gonna like this. White Robata currently have a sort of a social experiment going on, all their best cuts of meat can only be ordered medium-rare. I love that they’re doing that. Finally, the Bronte burger at Little Ruby’s has been my go-to burger since 2010, but even their double cheeseburger could have easily made this list.

What’s your favorite burger place in Kuwait?

Why you trying to stir up trouble between me and KB?? 😅😅😅 Kau would make my top 10 list easy but it’s a different style of burger to BBT and they only deliver so I end up at BBT more.

Nice to see other Mastodon fans in Kuwait! Got to see them this summer in the US, played Crack the Skye in full, was pretty epic.

Exactly it was the 10 year anniversary of the album, so they played it in full then like 4-5 other songs. They’ve already toured the last album extensively.

Honestly I wouldn’t call myself a fan of the band. Sure, I listened to their discography at one point but they didn’t quite clicked with me and it doesn’t qualify me as a fan.
I would love to go on and talk about metal a little more but oh well. Not the place haha

I would but I don’t have three places I order burgers delivery from. I prefer going out to have my burgers so my delivery list wouldn’t be accurate/realistic.

For those who are interested in this concept of comparing food items, I suggest you check this youtube channel out: ALAKEAL. They mainly compare delivery food (with some dine-in reviews exceptions)

My quick burger craving is usually Shake Shack or Five Guys. I have recently started that experiment on myself. I always eat my cuts medium, so I started asking different places that serve burgers that I want my burger medium. My last experiment was with Chilis, and believe it or not, the burger turned out to be quite good. Which made me think. Do most of the restaurants here import meat from the same few distributors? It seems like in the end it’s mostly about the bun and the toppings.

I use to like my meat well done but when i got my dog over a decade ago he was on a raw meat diet and I used to prep his food so I got a lot more comfortable with raw meat and started eating it cooked medium and then eventually medium rare and just rare.

My favorite is the one from Humble Burger.

Otherwise I’m all about Big Hardee from Hardee’s for good ol’ times sake 😀

Any chance you or someone you know could compile a “Best Veggie Burger” list?

My top 5 would be:

1. OVO
2. Johnny Rockets – Streamliner Burger
3. Impossible Everything (they only deliver I think)
4. Five Guys – Grilled Veggies sandwich (It’s not a burger but it’s so good)
5. Amman Bhelpuri

Elevation burger also have a veggie burger

Burger King’s bean burger is awesome if you ever get a branch that prepares it fresh (without tomatoes)

oooh. Just saw ‘Impossible Everything’.
I thought only RHS served Impossible meats. Is this the actual ‘Impossible 2.0’?
I don’t understand why they price it so high. In the states, it’s slightly expensive than normal burger, not double the price.

I’m a big burger person. From all the ones I’ve tried here in Kuwait I would say Prime and Toast has to be my favorite. Their patties are freshly prepared and not frozen, packaged. Burger tastes homemade. The price is quite reasonable too.

“Homemade Burgers” are simply the best!! Yum! Scrumptious! The very best, fresh ingredients! Made to order! Eat as many as you like, whenever you like! And such fast delivery times!!

Need to be made at home though…

I would say burgers now fall into three tiers.

Tier 3, the lowest level, junk joints like Hardee’s BK, McDonalds, etc.
Tier 2, the mid level, joints that user better ingredients and more preparation time, like Shake Shack, Five Guys, Elevation Burger.
Tier 1, Restaurants that use quality ingredients and longer preparation, like B+F, Little Ruby’s.
