I think so, there are always loads of fireworks in my area during new years, national day, eid etc..
It’s illegal to sell them. I know this because I called a seller once and he was hiding the fireworks under loads of clothes. I asked him if it was legal and he said definetly not.
Lol there are a lot of other illegal things which are easily available… What’s fireworks 😂

Why do we need fireworks?
If you want to invest in a better future for someone instead of lighting your money on fire, money would be better spent donating to someone in need in India, Palestine or even locally to the unfortunate etc. Don’t burn a hole in your pockets celebrating with fireworks.
Oh! I thought fireworks were illegal here. Yes people do light them, but the police make it a point to round up anyone they catch doing so during Diwali. In fact, you’ll see police parked at the grounds in predominately Indian neighbourhoods on that evening.
It’s so strange that they’re allowed during Eid. 🤷♀️

As long as firecrackers don’t emit any sound, I am fine by them. Sprinklers look actually nice for Eid. Adult supervision a must. Better still would be for there to be fireworks display in the ocean off Al Kout, the Opera House and the Towers.
