I came across this site while searching for info on the girl in the Hummer commercial with the bears. If that is not the actress/model Amy Smart, then she is a dead ringer for her.

Yes, those bears are from Animal Makers, located near Hollywood, CA. The site is full of hundreds of animals like this. Use of images of these bear suits is subject to copyright use restrictions.

Hummer H3 commercial: I generally don’t pay much attention to commercials, but every now and again something catches my eye. In this particular instance it was a General Motors Hummer H3 commercial entitled, “Restore your Manhood”… It shows a man purchasing Tofu at the grocery store, and behind him another man is purchasing a large amount of meat. The Tofu man is embarassed because of his “choice” in veganism SO has to promptly leave the grocery and purchase a new H3 in order to “Restore his Manhood.” This is very repulsive!!! If a person comes to the enlightened state that they should not eat meat for ethical or ANY other reasons, do you think he’ll be embarassed by that choice??? GM has now fallen below the point of no respect from me!

i also was really offended about that, i had to say something after i watched it, i was around a friend and i started telling him how fucked up it was, didnt seem like he cared, so i typed it in on the internet and i am releved that someone is also offended, i am so sick and tired of these companies and the army questioning your manhood so you go buy their products, or join. usually i never get offended by anything, by all means, people usually get offended by me, but this is just ignorant.

If I was a Hummer owner (which I am not), I would be offended by that ad. It’s basically saying that all the male Hummer owners out there would be wussies without their Hummer. I can’t believe this got past the ad agency execs and GM itself. They had to know that it would be ridiculed as if people don’t already have the opinion that Hummer owners suffer from small-weenie syndrome. hahaha
