Someone in Kuwait has a red Ford GT with white stripes. Its rumored to be owned by someone from the Al-Wazzan family.

K sent me a link last week about Mohammed Ben Sulayem’s Mercedes SLK that was fitted with an SLR engine. It seemed a bit like too much BS and it was causing the same BS feelings in various forums. The sheer volume of gadgetry in its rear quarters means you quickly forget you’re on Mercedes suspension, behind a Mercedes engine. It is a wonderful way to travel if you are a northern businessman or a Kuwaiti or you have the mental age of a six-year-old. Which is not a criticism, by the way.

Waiting for a phone call now from the mechanic, supposingly 3 of my 4 “bakarat” need changing. I have no clue what bakarat are our what language this word is from or what the hell these bakarat do. Now I am waiting for him to call me and tell me how much it will cost to fix it.

Just took my car to the mechanique because it was making some sounds and vibrations. I don’t like mechanics, they are like doctors. You go to a doctor for a checkup, he tells you that X and Y are wrong with you and that you need to take this and that medicine. You say ok and you leave the office and go get the medicine. You have no clue if the doctor is right or what the hell he was talking about. Same with mechanics. You go there, he tells you that X and Y are fucked up and it will cost you need this and that to fix it. You nod your head pretending you understood what the hell he just spoke about and you agree he fixes them for you.
