Joe & The Juice the popular chain of juice bars is coming to Kuwait. You’ve probably tried them or come across them while on vacation in the States or Europe and other than juice they also have coffee and sandwiches. A few days ago the CEO announced that they’ll be expanding to the Middle East and opening in Kuwait before the end of the year.
The Copenhagen-based chain will open its first stores in Qatar and Dubai next quarter before setting up shop in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman by the end of the year. In total it will add 200 to 300 juice bars in the region over 10 years, with the help of a franchise model to accelerate expansion and help reach a goal to grow 20% annually, the CEO said. Source
I haven’t tried Joe & The Juice before since it never seemed appealing but I’m sure someone is gonna be happy they’re opening in Kuwait.
Thanks Moey

They should change their catchphrase to “Coffee, coffee and more coffee”. It will attract more customers here.
Food food and more food would be better.
I’ve tried them in London once, their sandwiches were not great. Pret a Manger is better.
+1
In NYC, they are definately BLAH…..
Never heard of this brand nor ever came across it anywhere in the US or Europe. I would give them a shot if i ever pass by one.
Orange Julius would be better.
Whatever happened to Pret a Manger ?
Pret is opening in Hamra
Hamra? HAAAMMMRAA? Why on Earth and not every else??? People have GOT to get more business savvy. Pret would kill other places if they were to open in prime locations like Salmiya, Sabah Salem, Jabriya. If this is a trial, I forgive them. But for now, no one outside of those working in Hamra are going to get there, pay for parking and shop!
Hamra has like 4000 employees in the tower, that’s a lot of traffic. I live in Salmiya and can’t think of any place which would work for them there.
What portion of the 4000 will shop there, what about rents at Hamra? Are they going to boutique price it.
Salmiya has tons of spaces – cube mall, marina mall, fanar. I’m not saying no to Hamra. I’m saying start elsewhere too.
Jesus Cube Mall? Could you find a more dead place to open Pret? Marina? Fanar? Is it 2001 and nobody told me?
My office used to be in Hamra, building full of government employees, lots of Kuwaits, lots of buying power. During lunch break most places have queues and during the working hours the mall is packed with employees.
You cant say Jesus in a Muslim country you infidel
Jesus is now banned in Kuwait.
“Is it 2001 and nobody told me?”
Says the guy who still fervently maintains a blog. 🤣
Maybe you should check your own business savvy dude. I’m pretty sure people at Pret have thought this thru better than you. Locating in a big office tower means more consistent revenue streams from employees going for a lunch break everyday. If it were a cotton candy or popcorn stand then I’m with you cube mall is a better spot.
when ?
Any idea who their regional partner is?
They didn’t mention just that they would be partnering up with local operators. They might not have partners yet and just announced this now to spark interest in their upcoming IPO
They’ve got one confirmed franchisee for both Qatar and Saudi Arabia and another, different agency for Kuwait.
From what I know, and this was two months back, the franchisee for Qatar and Saudi Arabia has been confirmed. As for the franchisee in Kuwait, they’re still in discussions with a few potentials.
Ali Abdul wahab Al Mutawa in Kuwait

Always found their juices bland and tasteless
They have the best Spicy Tuna Melt sandwich ever !
They’re opening a location in this new mall in Ardiya called The Walk Mall
