My fav was God father !!! Why was it closed any idea ?
God Father was the best and cost just KD1.500!
Someone told me a story about why it closed down. It involved sabotage and a lot of other crap. Sad story.

As a child one of my teeth came out as I bit into a spicy slice of pizza. I love crinkle cut fries because it reminds me of their fries. Their burger was something else, they used a pink sauce inside which I am guessing is either a cocktail sauce or a thousand island sauce that made all the difference. I learned that the word “Gelato” also meant ice cream because of them.
I also used to order their vegetarian pizza, eat a slice for dinner then keep it until the next day because it would taste so much better for breakfast with a cup of sweet tea <3 Up until they finally closed down I used to hunt the pizza in their remaining branches. I think the last one was in Surra Co-Op.
Good times they were, good times.
I think the bayan one next to McDonalds might have been the last. I used to order from the Hawalli branch opposite Muhallab.

Pizza italia? mmm … they had the best hotdog in KUWAIT!
As for pizza, I miss SHOWBIZ, their pizzazz are my childhood favorite.
Yeah the Bayan one was the last branch to close! I kept ordering from them up til the late 90s! Seriously their burgers were amazing! Too bad they got screwed over and systematically shut down!

Yeah Prego was for the same owner. The guy was wayyy ahead of his time.
