maybe its some kind of public humiliation. probably not everyone would enjoy doing this.
I have to say that this is the most productivity I have seen from any Prison! Its probably keeping them preoccupied!

its true that it gets them pre-occupied and this is from Cebu Provincial jail. before they’re just doing a routine morning exercises like jumping jack.. for any other reason, they souped up a better idea of having a dance number as part of their routine exercise…
its also another way to clear the impression of the 70’s era wherein prison riots are so oftenly occuring thus gave a very bad image of the prison administrators then. These dancing prisoners are mainly from the medium security and mininum.. High profile prisoners are not included though.
it’s not being gay or lame.. this is better rather than puffing the magic dragon inside cells and getting high with coke, hero, or busting each others ass…
Atleast pinoys got the courage to portray that prison are not just hellholes, filthy, stinkin ones but a healthy rehabilitative environment.
