Breville (& Sage) Coffee Machines at Lakeland

Over the weekend I noticed Lakeland at 360 Mall were selling Breville and Sage coffee machines. Breville and Sage are the same company they’re just called different things in the US and the UK. The prices though are both expensive and a good deal, depending on what you want. I’ve posted before about ordering electronics from Amazon UK and here is how much the coffee machines would cost if you had Amazon UK ship them directly to you vs Lakeland:

The Oracle
Lakeland: KD1,034
Amazon UK: KD672

Barista Touch +
Lakeland: KD445
Amazon UK: KD489

Bambino Plus
Lakeland: KD232
Amazon UK: KD170

The Amazon prices include shipping to Kuwait and the customs fees. So really unless you want the Barista Touch it’s a better deal to just order the coffee machines directly from the UK.

Hi Mark , Hope you re having a good day !
I wanted to ask you about the telephone number of jarir bookstore branches (not the 180802 ) because i wanted to enquire about the stock status of a product of that particular store coz when we called the customer care no , their reply was disappointing and asked me to VISIT THOSE stores ( which is actually very far from my & tedious to visit each and every store of theirs in kuwait ) and their ecommerce website has been showing no info about which store is having the product but instead shows it is available but not where ?
So if you could give the ph no of their stores it would be easy for me to call them and ask .

in between when i was searching in google for the store ph no & found your post which was very helpful for me (I very much appreciate your help for that . )
and i had called them immediately but it wasnt there so i wanted to check in their next store
so if u could provide any other no I would be grateful for it .

Aha , How does that become stupid I had just asked you for help regarding information about a store as you seem to help others with matters same as these , had a lot of respect for you seeing all your posts till now including the 5g router reviews and all . You could have politely declined as I don’t know or something like that instead of humiliating /disrespecting me ! Nevermind sometime your expectation about a person gets shattered like this .

I did politely decline and tell you I don’t work for Jarir but you found that rude and humiliating even though you’re the one who asked the humiliating questions as if I’m the Jarir customer service representative. So don’t get upset at me for something you brought upon yourself.

I know that You don’t work AT JARIR but you seem to be a frequent traveller in kuwait , knows many things about its community , public places etc .. many topics especially salmiya so that i asked about a place that you had said u did visit or knows .

Mark where do you get your coffee beans ( freshly roasted)
Its costs fortune to order online
Please do an article about roastries in kuwait

Thanks

This is not a sales pitch. Just try this brand: Dallmayr Kilimanjaro (UTZ). German product, roasted, and sold locally through a local company called Avanti General Trading. Tel: 66671437. Price is KD 10 per kilo.
They do not usually sell to individuals but companies like IKEA. And use those beans with KRUPS Espresso machines Serie EA80 or EA81. You will be hooked for life I think.. Enjoy

Absolute rippoff, This thing is less than half the price in Australia. check applianciesonline dot com dot au.

unless shipping costs 172KWD to kuwait.

Anyone interested in buying this and get shipped to their Oz address in shopandship, let me know.

Oracle is KD550 without shipping to Kuwait. It also weighs 35lbs which with shop and ship would cost you KD61. Add 5% customs and you’re at KD640. So basically the same price as Amazon UK.

half the price of Amazon? doubt it, you’re probably talking about a different model since Breville/Sage prices are pretty standard. Also expect to pay an arm and a leg if you’re shipping to shop & ship because other than the high shipping cost you’d have to pay tax. when you export they remove the tax.
