I think the biggest surprise here is that KTV2 is still operating.

You should tune in to the most hilarious show after iftar on KTV2 lol I”ve been watching it as I have iftar its hilarious

I’ve been on Kuwaiti TV, and let me tell you.. the studios are old, run down hangars that haven’t been renovated since whenever they were built. It is appalling.

Every once in a while I like to stray on KTV 2.
TV programming sans commercial ad breaks is the best thing I used to like about them.
They never had the touch of a Channel 55 or a Channel 33 but even so, I am grateful to them for enabling such enjoyable series as The Paper Chase, Benson, Mind Your Language, The Cine Club, Omar Al Mukhtar, Dallas & Falcon Crest, Understanding Islam and Return to Eden (all previous to the invasion). This at a time when satellite TV, streaming & Netflix were unheard of.

I mean streaming was unheard of because the internet really didn’t exist back then :p

If you’re a fan of Cine club check these post

Last I checked he was still in Kuwait.

Still fondly remember KTV 2 in the 80s when the broadcast started at 7:00 pm – I think ! The Kuwait National Anthem then cartoons (mostly Tom & Jerry) and was it on Thursdays evenings they had the big sitcoms Knight Rider, A Team, Blue Thunder, Air wolf and movie-nights at 1000 pm on Thursday? Good old days !!!
