These Adidas are encrusted with Swarovski crystals and cost over KD1,000. Luckily for all of us, they’re all sold out which means the guys with the Swarovski covered cars cruising on the Gulf Road will have to find matching sneakers elsewhere. [Link]

Found out about Capital District from iLSuL6ana’s blog and I think I like where they’re going with the brand. Their clothing are unique in that they’re based on Kuwait and it’s past which automatically differentiates them from everything else out there. The Lebanese luxury chains Aïshti and Aïzone have opened up at the Avenues. They’re the equivalent of Villa Moda in Lebanon carrying mostly the same brands which is why I was curious to pass by the Avenues one. I was in a rush so I had a quick walk through and noticed 80% of the store space is dedicated to woman with the rest for men. Here is the link to the Aïshti website [Link]

I really like these Adidas Maharishi’s. I am not usually a fan of Adidas mid tops but these are very tastefully done by Maharishi. From Sneaker Freaker:

I got an email from the owner of a new boutique called Twist telling me about these BlackBerry covers they have which I found interesting. The covers are hand made using a technique called decopatch. This makes every cover unique with no two a like. I am not sure if they make them in Kuwait themselves or they’re made outside but I like the idea. Just ordered a pair of these sneakers. I first saw them in Amsterdam but they were out of stock from my size. Luckily I found two stores online that still had them. [Link]

I found someone on eBay that makes and sells the red leather suit similar to the one Michael Jackson wore in Thriller. Sadly Nat threatened to walk out on me if I wear it. [Link]

Yesterday night a fight broke out at Villa Moda in which the cops had to be called to come in. Believe it or not the fight was over a bag. Seriously I am not kidding!

Its been a while since I’ve spotted a pair of sneakers that I wanted. Just saw these and I’m going to order them since I’ve been wanting white sneakers for ages but they all seemed a bit too boring. [Link]

I’ve been checking out FREITAG bags since 2006 and I finally got one today. Since every single bag is a unique design I always had a hard time finding one I liked. A reader emailed me a link to a Kuwaiti online sex shop. I spent a bit of time on the site trying to find something PG rated I could attach to this post but had problems finding something. They have vibrators, S&M stuff, costumes, creams and a ton of other random stuff. I am guessing this stuff is illegal in Kuwait and that someone is going to get into a bit of trouble now… [Link]
