Because there’s nothing to do in Kuwait! Comparing to other GCC countries, it’s embarrassing!
It’s good that playing a sport is trending and hyped. This is good. I believe there was already a Kuwaiti champion in a GCC competition.

Any sport-related fad is a good thing in my book. I also see it as a good opportunity for Kuwait residents to build names for themselves as professional padel players and for the country to build a reputation for being the go-to place for future tournaments, especially because it’s a fairly new sport (to the GCC, at least).
