Burger Review: Let’s Burger

The Best Burger in Kuwait Challenge
I personally think the food in Lebanon is a mixture of good and bad. We obviously do good Lebanese food, we also make some of the best pizza’s, we’ve got some really great crepes and most importantly we have the world’s best beer (Almaza FTW!). One thing we strangely don’t have is good burgers. For some reason no one has cracked a good burger in Lebanon. I’ve been recommended so many places and every time I try a burger there I am left disappointed. Let’s Burger is a Lebanese burger creation which I was hoping would break this cycle.

The first thing I noticed when I opened the menu is they had mayonnaise listed under the “5 Elements for a perfect burger”. That’s when I knew things weren’t going to end well. Mayonnaise??? I continued flipping through their menu and decided to go with the stuffed cheese burger. I wasn’t asked how I wanted the burger done.

A short time later my burger arrived and I quickly took my first bite. Two things grabbed my attention. The first thing is, I liked the beef patty with the stuffed cheese inside. Because the cheese was all soft and gooey it made the beef patty very juicy. The second thing that grabbed my attention is the bun, it was cold and cracking. That meant the bun wasn’t fresh and was refrigerated. Cold bread + hot beef patty = Doesn’t work. Their sauce also wasn’t anything to write home about since although the description in the menu said grainy mustard mayo sauce, what I tasted was mostly just plain mayo.

For the final score I’m giving it a 2.5 out of 5. The patty was fine but they need to fix the bun issue, it shouldn’t be too hard to get fresh buns every morning delivered. They also really need to cut down on the mayo, not only is it not an important element in a good burger… it shouldn’t be on a burger in the first place. Period.

Let’s Burger is located at 360 Mall.
The cost of the Stuffed Cheeseburger was KD3.450

Hi Mark, thanks for all the reviews. Just a question please, any idea where Fuddruckers located in Kuwait?

The design of the place is cool (Even though most of it is based on Johnny Rockets). But the food is disgusting. I went there when the place first opened. Around two months ago. I found a small dead Cockroach in the Salad. We got out and left. we’ll never go there again.

Worst burger in Kuwait. Middle eastern herbs used in a burger. Ended up tasting like a bad kebab not a burger. The restaurant’s seatings and decorations are great. I heard that the stuffed burger that you reviewed is good.

Pfffffffffffffffffffff, I tried Let’s Burger in Kuwait, 2.5/5 is ALOT i would give it a 0.25/5

Mark, please, next time you get to Lebanon go to the first ever Let’s Burger Branch in Sessine.
I would give that a 3.5/5 or even 4/5

This is completely off topic but, when will Fahad post about Ramadan, diet and maintaining muscle mass?????!

Mark, I have to disagree with your point about the burgers in Lebanon, once you’ve tried Brgr Co. Then I think you will rethink your theorem, speaking from one burgerhead to another.
(by the way, it’s in the place of TriBeCa in Ashrafieh and they luckily they haven’t changed much of the decor, which was amazing and minimalist)
All the best

I asked them for medium cooked burger they said all their burgers are cooked the same but we assure you it will be juicy and it was… so I didnt mind that. I tried the burger you reviewed and the swiss mushroom… I liked the swiss mushroom more 😉

Mark you should try burger classic joint (Ashrafiye, sodeco) best burger in lebanon. But sure not better than slider station nor burger boutique.

Very baaaad burger i hated it. Was very dry and the manager explained that their burgers are fat free. I have tried their club sandwich too, it was awful. Very bad resturant.

The best burger i have tried was yesterday in open flame kitchen ( manhatan burger ) very tender and juicy and the bun was very sooooft. The burger was wooooow.

I hated Lets Burger, people here (in Lebanon) spoke about it like the best new burger place. I went to it once and that’s all I needed, horrible burgers, horrible service.

If you want a good burger in Lebanon, Bobs Diner has a great Mushroom Burger. The other burgers they have are pretty good too.

Nael and Cajie,
More posts are on the way! My absence is just temporary so that I can concentrate on Core Fitness’s two new up & coming branches.

My sincerest apologies for the delay. 🙂

Wow how strange That burger also had caught my eye when I saw the menu couple of weeks back and exactly mayo is the worst in any burger and the buns were really bad but the beef was good I guess give them time to get some feedback from customers

Completely agree with your statements about Lebanons burgers Mark. Its hard to find a decent place here. As Patrick said Bobs Diner is your best bet but I still don’t find it that “great,” but hey better than nothing.

Aliman is right guys regarding Brgr co. In Beirut….it’s the next best thing after new York city burgers. The place is amazing, very charming and the atmosphere of the place feels real. The meat quality is out of this world….I recommend you all to try it…

PEOPLE! If you haven’t tried Classic Burger in sodeco you haven’t tasted the best burger yet!!! BRGR is good, But Classic’s Swiss’n Muchroom is heaven :-p TRY ALSO THE CLASSIC CHEESE!!!
CBJ was the first Burger (only) Joint to open in Lebanon, then I was frustrated to see all those joints opening the same concepts one after the other…but then again competition is good, more burgers for us burger addicts!

Mark you have an awesome blog here thanks for all this those reviews, it helped me a lot on my quest for burgers during my last trip to Kuwait ;-)))

@sara I’m a classic fan too 😉 I don’t think they have the BEST burgers…I’ve tasted some that are to die for! But they have the best all-round-burger experience. I’m ‘burger addict’ too, I order a burger in any restaurant I go to! Classic is the kind of burger you can eat 5 days a week and drool over it every time 😉 it’s the most politically correct burger I know of: price/quality/experience ratio…
