A lot of you have been recommending a variety of restaurants for me to try out ranging from Thai, and Lebanese to Italian and American but no one even recommended a good Fish & Chips place! While walking around today I found a small cozy place where I had Fish & Chips for lunch.

One store I fell in love with here in London is called Size?. Size? is a sneaker store but they seem to have the coolest/funkiest collection of sneakers I have seen all in one place. Majority of the sneakers I saw today I had previously only seen on SneakerFreaker.com and DrJays.com. Now I am trying to figure out which sneaker to get, I only want to get two but I have around 10 I like. Some of the sneakers I found and liked are displayed above and below this post.

This is my first time in London and I have to say its the coolest place I have been to. Its cooler than New York, LA and Montreal, there are soo many streets, shops and people all packed tightly together. The picture above was taken on Oxford Street which is a sucky tourist street. I am at the Beirut airport now waiting for my flight to London. I came early so I could spend time surfing the web and playing some Xbox 360 games in the Cedar Lounge. Since I am travelling with British Airways they gave me a VIP Lounge pass which sounded a lot cooler but I just got to it and it SUCKS. No computers, no WiFi, no English newspapers, no AC and its tiny, dark and gloomy. I am going to see if they will allow me to get into the other lounge cuz this one sucks majorly. My sister emailed me my old class photo taken in the early 80’s while I was in Sunshine School here in Kuwait (its now called BSK). Its a pretty cool retro looking picture with lots of nice colors, check out the larger version [Here]

I got a nice surprise today morning, a little cupcake from Little Treats. Turns out they are opening a store at the beginning of the month so they sent me and my partner at work an invite for the opening day. Their store is going to be located on the mezzanine floor in the Wataniya Complex in Salmiya. I think thats the small shopping center across the street from NBK. Remember I posted about tattoos and the small tattoo place in the Marina Mall food court? Well I passed by today and its not there! I saw it two days ago and now its gone. Did they shutdown or did they get shutdown?

I was hoping to rest this weekend but it looks like thats not going to happen since I have a work related trip I need to take. Thursday I leave Kuwait around 1PM and get to Beirut at around 3. I spend the night there and next morning at 9AM I leave to London. I get to London at 1PM then the following day at 10PM I catch a flight to Bahrain where I catch another flight back to Kuwait. Its going to be really hectic but spending a day and a half in London is going to be worth it. Like last weekend I will be blogging directly from my phone which means I will be posting a lot of pictures. It should be a lot of fun.

Someone posted the following in the forum:

Yesterday on my visit to the aquarium of Kuwait Scientific Center, I noticed that the Zubaidi (Pomfret) had eye infections.

Most of them in the tank had a whitish curtain over their eyes and the tips of their mouths were injured (as a result of not being able to see properly, I am assuming they kept hitting their faces on the tank).

I tried to look around for a person to report this to, but none was around. If anybody knows anyone in the scientific center, could you please tell them about this ??

Oh and I am currently watching a movie called Sunshine.

Today we managed to do so much. Started the morning with Euro Disney and ended the afternoon shopping. Val d’europe turned out to be disappointing, 90 percent of the shops were franchises available in Kuwait. So we didn’t spend too long there before getting back to our hotel. After freshening up we left again for more shopping this time at a department store called LaFayette which is amazing. Anyway now I am back working and it looks like todays meeting is going to be really long. I love the design of this studio, which wish we had this style in Kuwait. (Posted from my Nokia e61i)

All those people are waiting in line to get up the Eiffel Tower. Its not even peak tourist season and it was slightly raining so imagine how long the line would be mid summer on a nice day. [YouTube]

I am at what looks and feels like a mansion but is actualy a post production studio. We recently shot a commerical in Lebanon but since the ad involves a lot of 3D graphics we are doing all the work here. The studio is set in an old house and the interior is a combination of old architecture and hitech computers. (Posted from my Nokia e61i)
