I am coming home

Although my plan was to stay in Munich forever thats easier said than done. I am now in the Frankfurt airport waiting for my flight back to Kuwait. I really need to learn German. (Posted from my Nokia E61i)

Muenchen

Just got to the Munich Airport and so far I think its the nicest airport I have ever been to design wise. It’s very minamilistic, no clutter and a lot of empty space. (Posted from my Nokia E61i)

Landed in London

My plane landed awhile ago in London and I am now on the subway headed to my hotel. A cab would have cost me around KD30, subway is just KD2 and there is no traffic. (Posted from my Nokia E61i)

Blooming for Life

I am at The Avenues now and they have flowers and greenary all over the place sponsored by different companies for a Blooming for Life charity thing where all proceeds go to the Red Crescent. I think the mall looks much much better with these flowers everywhere, they should consider keeping them permanantly. (Posted from my Nokia E61i)

Kuwait vs Iraq

I’m watching the match from the sidelines. My first live football match ever. (Posted from my Nokia E61i)

Update: it was an extremely boring match that ended up in a goalless tie.

Picking up the CTS

CTS

I just got to Al Ghanim and am waiting to pick up the keys to the new 2008 Cadillac CTS. They are keeping it with me for the weekend so I can review it. Its been a while since I last reviewd a car so it should be fun. (Posted from my Nokia E61i)

Someone shoot me

I don’t think I can take another Christmas song! Every station is playing Christmas songs and I don’t mean Christmas carols, I am talking about regular songs remixed into Christmas songs. Who the hell still plays Coco Jumbo yet alone the Christmas version. Once you leave the car it doesn’t get any better, practically every store in the mall is also tuned into a radio station so the horror never ends! (Posted from my Nokia E61i)

Cafe Matik Sucks

I am at the airport now waiting for my pane back to Kuwait. I just had lunch at Cafe Matik which I think is probably the most boring airport cafe in the world. Its always been this bad at the Beirut airport, for as long as I can remember there has always been a monopoly when it came to food at the airport here. The old restaurant at the old Kuwait airport is like 100 times better than this one. Anyway I am just sitting here watching people going by wishing there was a McDonalds for me to pig out at. Still shooting

I am now on the final shot for today, so far everything has been going smoothly with no major surprises or issues. It never ended up raining. I got another email from ACK which I will post once I get back to the hotel. It was something about tickets being for KD30 (or was it 40) and are only available for sale to ACK students and family members. Will post the full email later. (Posted from my Nokia e61i)
