The past few days I was hearing a lot about this application on the Mac called Macsaber that worked with the latest Apple notebooks by replicating the Star Wars light saber sound everytime you swung your Mac around. Fastr is a really addictive game which I have been playing for the past hour.
Fastr is a game that uses flickr images. It loads ten images that all share a common tag, one by one, and you guess what the tag is. When you guess right, the tag will turn blue. Then you can watch the pictures until the next set begins. The faster you guess, the more points you get. The points are reset every five minutes.
In one round I was able to score in the top 5, its really easy to play and its very fast. Type your guess and if it doesn’t turn out right quickly delete your word and try again. [Link]

Awhile ago I went and got a 2 liter bottle of Pepsi and 1 roll of Mentos to try the experiment I posted about last week. When I got back to the office I called some friends out onto the roof-less balcony so I could show them this cool experiment. Since I didn’t tell anyone what was going to happen they nearly all got sprayed including the cameraman as you can see in the video. The Pepsi fountain hit 3 meters high although it doesn’t really show in this tight shot clip. Download the video and check it out. [MOV 115KB]
I am going to try this experiment hopefully today if it stops raining since I will need to do it outside. Its a simple experiment, take a 2 liter bottle of Coke and a packet of mentos. Then empty the mentos into the bottle of coke and take cover. If you did it right you might end up with a Coke fountain 18ft high! [Link]

This is an Excel file with 200 logos in it. The aim of this test is to try and name the brands which belong to the logo. I was able to guess 83 right and ended up with a 42%. There were a couple of logos which looked really familiar but I just couldn’t remember who they belonged to which made things really frustrating but still very fun. [Link]

Nat sent me this link to a Mind Reader thing. Basically you think of a two digit number lets say 20, you then add the two digits 2+0=2 and you subtract it from the original number 20-2=18. Then you look for the symbol next to the number and click on the crystal ball. I tried it now like 6 times and 6 times it guessed the right symbol. I don’t know how its guessing them!! [Link]
