Ibrahim Al-hulail is a Kuwaiti student who’s currently studying in Japan and wanted me to share this video he put together of Japanese people trying to speak Kuwaiti by saying “7ad ouma bard” which basically means it’s very cold. [YouTube]

Found a store near my office that has the funniest named perfumes. Most are actually mimicking big brands but some like the above are just completely random. Actually I have a theory to how they might have come up with the name Whisky on Titanic. Here it goes… What did the Titanic hit? An iceberg. What do you put with whisky? Ice. What do you call that? Whisky on the rocks. So rocks is ice which is the iceberg which is what the Titanic hit resulting in the name Whisky on Titanic. At least this is my theory on the concept behind the name. Not sure if it’s a typo or actually an ingredient.

Update: I got an email from 7Bars Restaurant regarding the above. It was a spelling mistake on the Scalopini Sandwich which has already been fixed. The correct word is tabasco.

So a reader sent me a link to her blog where she wanted me to check out this toy gun she found being sold here in Kuwait. I didn’t see what was so interesting about it until I watched the video. Not sure if I find this funny or serious since it goes both ways depending how you look at it. Make sure you have the volume loud. [YouTube]

Since we are on the subject of massages, seems at some shisha places you can have a guy give you a massage for just one Dinar.

I’ve always thought my barber should have that option on the list as well.
Shave + Haircut + Massage = KD3.
That would be a combo I would pay for.
