Found these two signs today and thought I would take pictures.

Blinds in English is plural for window shades.

B as in Bebsi.

Update: In case you didn’t get it, the first picture says Blinds which doesn’t mean blind as in the person can’t see. Blinds means window shades so instead of the sign saying the Kuwait Association for blind people its saying the Kuwait Association for window shades. The second picture, bump is misspelled as bumb.

This video was shot earlier tonight by Ahed on Damascus Street. A diwaniya was being transported on a back of a truck when it hit the Adailiya bridge and fell off the truck onto the middle of the road. Is this the first drive-thru diwaniya? [YouTube]

This is a video of a serious debate between an Iraqi “Researcher on Astronomy” and a physicist on Iraqi television. The astronomy guy is trying to convince the physicist that the world is flat and that the sun is smaller than the earth. [YouTube]

Ok this isn’t a serious post but something I was thinking about today. My favorite tasting cough medicine has to be Toplexil and I was thinking maybe I should start reviewing different cough syrups. Of course thats not going to happen.

Back in 2006 I posted about a website called Bombay TV where they have short video clips from Indian movies and they let you fill in the subtitles. Well they’ve updated their site now with a slightly better interface and added a ton of new videos to play around with. These two movies seriously are the worst two movies I have ever seen. The first one is called Friend 3 Deaf Pistol and the second one is called Sandaweecha. You need to watch the movies in a large group to really enjoy them. Both were “Made in Kuwait”.
