Just found a bug in the Internet connection here, kinda like the one Zajil had in Kuwait. Basically I log in using my internet card, I sign onto MSN and then logout from the internet. The MSN connection stays open. Pretty cool.

I have been checking anonymous.kuwaitblogs.com for the past 2 days and its hillarious. I noticed more people talk about sex when they are anonymous, here is an example:
I think I’m a nymph…. I just mastrubated….. 6 times….in 10 minutes…. I came…. really hard
Its easy to setup an anonymous account and its really fun, give it a shot. [Link]
I hope ads won’t start popping up everywhere. I think Yahoo! looks like its going to kick Googles ass in everything except web searching. [Link]
Gmail Tips & Tricks
Loads of handy tips & tricks my favorite being the following:
Receiving E-Mails without giving your real address
Sometimes you want to use your GMail address on a website, but you fear you will get a lot of SPAM afterwards coming from that website. So instead of creating another address just for those kind of websites, you can very easily alter your address. if your address is [email protected], enter on the website [email protected]. We will still receive every e-mail, but if the website do send you a lot of SPAMs, you can create a filter for every message sent to this address ([email protected]) to go directly in the trash !

The Very First Webpage
Some people seem to think that this webpage by Tim Berners-Lee was the first webpage. [Link]
Just downloaded a Firefox extension called Fasterfox. Basically what it does is it prefetches links and tweaks the network so pages load considerably faster. What impressed me the most other then the increase in performance was the quality of the extension. Fasterfox has a nice appealing logo and its menu options (located under preferences) are very simple and easy to understand. Pretty cool. [Link]
Example
Heh, I just found out the domains example.com, example.net and example.org “are reserved for use in documentation and are not available for registration.”
Single-letter Domains
Single-letter second-level domains are domain names in which the second-level domain consists of only one letter, such as x.org.
Such domains are rare, as on December 1, 1993, IANA explicitly reserved all single letter and single digit second-level domain names in the TLDs .com, .net, and .org.
However, the few such domains that were already assigned were not recalled, and so circumvented the restrictions that have existed since.
i.net INet Corporation
q.com West Communications
q.net Q Networks
x.com PayPal
x.org The Open Group
z.com Nissan

If MSN, Yahoo, ICQ, Jabber, AOL or GTalk is blocked at your office or maybe you are on a computer which won’t allow you to install any of these chat programs, a new website will allow you to get on these messengers. I know there are many other websites that do this but this is the only one I know that uses Web 2.0. I just tried it out now and its great, works exactly like the real thing with chat windows which you can move around and stuff. Give it a try and you will see what I am talking about. [Link]
Watch TV Broadcasts Online
wwiTV is your broadband Portal to watch live TV broadcasts and on demand TV broadcasts on the Internet. wwiTV is only an index to streaming media available on the web and does not host any of the media. They have over 3000 streams listed but they are mostly news channels. [Link]

Tags provide an easy way for you to “remember” and classify any item on the Amazon site for later recall. For example, you might be shopping for holiday gifts and tag items with the names of the people on your shopping list. At any time, you can review the items you’ve tagged and make final gift decisions. You can add tags from the detail page for any product, and the items you’ve tagged and tags you’ve used are displayed on Your Profile. [Link]
