Nibaq (he got me into blogging) just posted on his twitter a link to a video of him and his wife camping in Antarctica last November. You can watch the video above in which you can see the Kuwaiti flag planted. I guess that makes them the first Kuwaiti man and woman in Antarctica? [Link]

Ibrahim Al-hulail is a Kuwaiti student who’s currently studying in Japan and I previously posted a video of his in which he had some Japanese students say a Kuwaiti phrase. Well this time he made a new video to share with my readers dedicated to Kuwait from his Japense friends to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the independence of Kuwait and the 20th anniversary of the liberation of Kuwait. In the video his Japanese friends sing the popular song Watani Habibi. [YouTube]

Kuwait a Dream Suspended is a rare documentary film about Kuwait in the 80s. I haven’t had the chance to watch it all yet but from what I saw it looks interesting. [YouTube]
