This site makes me really jealous. They have a contest where they try to find the “smallest, coolest apartments”. Some of the stuff is really good and it depresses me to see them do so much with such little space while I can’t figure out what to do with my huge place. I am terrible when it comes to interior design, I should probably just steal some ideas from them and get it over with… [Link]

Yesterday I was talking to a fellow employe when we started talking about t-shirts. Then somehow out of the blue I remembered Hypercolor t-shirts. The guy hadn’t heard of it since he is young (20) and I am old (26). So I started telling him about the T-Shirts and how in theory they were supposed to change color when you touched them or with the weather but in reality you had to pull the shirt up to your mouth and breathe on it really hard to inspire any kind of color change. When you wore it in school all your friends with spend the whole day either touching you or blowing hot air on your t-shirt so it changes color. This was something really cool in the early 90’s (the t-shirt not the touching) and this was supposed to be the future.
The cool thing is you can still find Hypercolor t-shirts for sale on ebay! Anyway I also created a new category on this blog called “80’s & 90’s” where I will be adding some nostalgia stuff like these t-shirts.
A 1001hp Bugatti Veyron has popped up on eBay with a starting bid of only $1.7 million. The vehicle description claims the Veyron being auctioned will be one of the first 50 made and includes the VIP package, which is an invitation to visit Bugatti’s HQ in Alsace, France, test drive a Veyron and choose the color for your own. I was wondering if a new ordinance was introduced or something for making buildings wheel chair compliant? So far 3 buildings next to my office have added wheel chair ramps.. including my office building and Muthana Complex. This all happened this week so its either one big coincidence or a new ordinance was released requiring every office building or mall to have wheel chair access. Speaking of which does Souk Sharq have an elevator? I was wondering a while back how someone on a wheel chair could go to the second floor..

Over the weekend I was at True Values and I found this huge gallon of pest control spray. It was a good brand (Spectracide) and was selling for only KD5 and offered 6 months of protection against any kind of bug. So I bought it but when I got home I started to read the warning label and this thing is scary. If I drop some of the liquid on my skin I need to wash the area for 20 minutes and then call the poison center. So I decided to wear gloves while I am using it. I don’t know how, maybe because I am extremely clumsy but I ended up spilling a lot of the liquid on my hardwood floor. Then I tried to wipe it up and now I think I have this liquid all over my hands. How am I supposed to clean up a toxic spill?!?! This thing is crazy, I have been sneezing like hell, my fingers have a tingly sensation going on, my arm it a bit itchy, and my gloves are soaked with this liquid. I should have just purchased Raid…
Tomorrow is the World Wide Developer Conference and Steve Jobs will be giving his famous Keynote. Usually the days leading up to the event are filled with rumors on what Apple might be releasing or upgrading etc.. This time though its been very strangely quiet. I couldn’t find a single reliable rumor of anything anywhere. Very strange.. I did find a cool cartoon though at Joy of Tech. Most of you might not get it but Steve Jobs always wears the same clothes during his keynotes, black turtle neck and blue jeans. Here is the cartoon.
