There is a new mall opening near AUK in Salmiya called Symphony Mall. A friend of mine was telling me today that its supposed to be the most luxurious mall in Kuwait. According to what he heard they will have the worlds most expensive bathroom at this mall. Woman would be able to get foot massages in the bathroom. There will also be a water bar at the mall with a whole variety of bottled water from around the globe. Carrying your own bags will also be a thing of the past, Symphony Mall will provide shoppers with their own slave personal assitant who will carry the bags for them.

Should turn out to be an interesting place..

KUWAIT CITY: A furore broke out at the Kazma Football Club recently following a football match between the Kazma and Qadsiya Clubs when some football fans mobbed two “provocatively” dressed women, reports Al-Watan daily. The scanty clothes of the two girls, who had reportedly come to watch the match, instigated some youth present there to molest them, say sources. It took the intervention of securitymen to bring the situation under control, they add, indicating “some of the youths were taken to the police station.” Many people, however, protested that the fault actually lay with the girls whose manner of dressing was “against custom and tradition and even against the Islamic sharia.” Questions now remain as to where the organizers were and why the girls were allowed to enter the stadium? – Arab Times

Firstly I didn’t censor the pictures with a black marker, the newspaper did. Secondly I am curious to know what these two girls were thinking. You wouldn’t wear what they were wearing to Marina Mall yet alone a stadium filled with thousands of male teens. Even if the two girls were over dressed they would still have gotten harassed! Maybe they figured whatever, they were going to get harassed anyways so might as well make the most of it. You hear a lot about incidents like this that happening all over Kuwait but this is the first time I see pictures attached to a story.

Seems there is a Lebanese guy on the show The Apprentice this season. Tarek Saab, a 27-year-old Maronite Catholic and the son of a Lebanese father and an American mother, lived in war-torn Lebanon as a child before he and his family came to the U.S. and moved into public housing projects in New Bedford, Mass. I was just checking out Frankom’s site when I found a picture of this guy above. If you have ever been to any of the popular malls in Kuwait you MUST have seen this guy atleast once. It seems he goes by the nickname Shark and you could usually spot his Blue vintage Bugatti or yellow T-Rex parked outside Starbucks in Salmiya opposite Fanar. I sometimes see him at Souk Sharq during my lunch break and Marina Mall during the evening and I always wonder if this guy has a job or not since he is always hanging out at cafes. Here is some “heavy” cleavage of an Arab celebrity, I think she is an actress called Nahla Salameh (or something). Seems she dressed up in a skimpy transparent outfit and it caused some controversy. I have a link to the picture of her and another one of an article clipping from a newspaper. I didn’t read the article (its in Arabic) but I am guessing they are talking about how slutty she is and how she should be deported to whoreland or something. I don’t know I am just talking out of my ass here, they might be just talking about her hair…
