You can now watch your favorite TV shows online, including Sopranos, Joey, Arrested Development, Chappelle Show, MacGuyver, South Park and more. The service was free before but now only a handful of shows are free (Simposins and Ninja Turtles for example). But if you want to watch all the shows its only 8$ a month, not expensive at all. Update: Anyone remember iCraveTV? I never was able to watch any of it since it required atleast 56kb connection and I was still on 28.8. That was cool, the site used to stream Fox and other channels live online before it was shut down. Nothing similar is available today.

Not a new concept but this version works on any system os and doesn’t require you to download any software at all. Very cool. [Link]

Shiira is a web browser written in Cocoa. It uses the KHTML rendering engine provided by Apple’s Web Kit. Since this is the same rendering engine used by Safari, HTML content rendered by Shiira will look the same as in Apple’s own browser. Its pretty compact at only 2.5MB and has some cool features… its only 2.5MB! [Link]

Update: Ok I have decided to make Shiira my primary browser for the next few days. So far its better then Safari and a lot quicker and lighter then FireFox. One major disadvantage is that the WordPress admin area isn’t very compatible with Shiira or Safari.

I have never used the PNG format for anything. I find it useless since Jpeg and Gif do the job a lot better so I was pretty pleased to find this website that actually proves this. PNG might be better file format but the files are much much more larger then Jpeg and Gif which doesnt make it very practical. [Link]

A9.com has done a minor cleanup to their starting page, they also fixed up their Maps page. While maps.google.com shows you satellite images of countries, maps.a9.com is pictures from the ground of store fronts. Of course not all the cities are available and its only US cities but its still really cool. Using maps.a9 I was able to show Nat every shop I passed by when I was in New York on vacation. Shops which I had forgotten their names I was able to find by maps.a9. Try it out. [Link]

The other day I posted about how you can check out Kuwait using Google Maps, well I found a site that will take you sightseeing around the world using Google Maps, ever wanted to visit Disney Land, Buckingham Palace, or the Colosseum? It seems Flickr got banned yesterday in UAE. According to this discussion, Flickr got banned because of the nudity found on it. This said, the UAE users are blamming the people who are shooting nudes for the ban when they should be blaming their government.

I just noticed CNN did some minor redesigns to their main page. If you also notice the site’s logo also has a “With Free Video” label attached to it. Seems most of the redesign is to include the free video links which is cool since there are many times I would rather watch the newstory then to read it.
