Geo it seems has a thing for red colored ethernet cables. Yesterday I realized one of the access points at home wasn’t working and when I checked the cable I found it had been bitten through. The ethernet cable I had used for it was red. So I went to the other side of the room to get another red cable that I used to use with my old clamshell ibook and to my surprise that was also bitten through. All the other cables surrounding the red ones (blue, grey and yellow) were not damaged only the 2 red cables in 2 different parts of the room were bitten through. Its very strange but now I know not to use red cables anymore.

The Kuwait Cinemagic & The Royal Film Commission invite everyone to attend a Jordanian Short Film Screening event which will take place at Al Sha’ab Theatre on the evening of June 22nd, at 7:30 p.m.
They will be screening around 10 short films made by young Jordanian filmmakers, some of whom will be attending the event and discussing their work.
It promises to be a fun evening, and you can bring as many people as you like just as long as you come early, as the seating is free and will be on a first come first served basis. Here is the flyer for the event.

The toot results are finally out and guess who got second place! Thanks to everyone who voted, I am Nat is now a proud owner of an iPod nano. Congrats Bakhos for getting first place and Naseem for getting third (sorry I know how much you wanted the nano).
Now over the weekend I won a Pepsi soccer ball and I know its not as fancy as an iPod nano but if anyone wants it all you need to do is visit your nearest Pepsi redemption center (i have no clue where they are) and collect the soccer ball signed by the Pepsi stars using the password 478-876-691. Only 1 person can get the ball so its for the first one who gets there 😀
Anyway thank you toot for the nano, once I get it will snap some pics and post them online here.

My MacBook is in my U Shop We Ship mailbox. My MacBook arrived there today after they had already sent out this weeks shipment. If it was Aramex I would have had to wait until their next scheduled shipment but since this is U Shop We Ship I chose the option “Ship Now” and my package is now going to be shipped today. Can’t wait till I get it.

I know I keep picking on Mac&More but I can’t help it. So today I walk in and a salesgirl comes up to me and asks if she can help, this is how the conversation went:
Me: Yeah Hi, do you have the MacBooks?
Her: The laptop?
Me: Ummm yeah…
Her: Yes we do
Me: Oh cool how much are they?
Her: well we have the 15″ and the large 17″..
Me: Hold on, the MacBook is only 13″
Her: ?
Me: ?
Her: ??
Me: I am not asking about the MacBook Pro, I was asking about the MacBook
Her: ?
Me: The regular MacBook.. the white and black ones
Her: Ah, yes we get them in 2 days
Me: Thank you bye
Yeah so that didn’t go very well. On the bright though they have some Crumpler Bags although they have the ugliest colored models. Don’t know why they didn’t get any of the cooler colored ones. On another note my MacBook is in my U Shop We Ship mailbox in the States and is going to ship today and arrive hopefully on Sunday.

The engine and transmission have been rebuilt by Edelbrock himself in Illinois, USA. Very nice original car with lots of options, has front power disc brakes, have copy of bill of sale, new exhaust, power top & headlight covers work properly.
The only 1970 Cougar in Kuwait. Interior needs minor work, some stiching. This sort of interior job is available in Kuwait and the cost is minimal.
Price – KD8,000
