Today there was an article in Arab Times related to what I posted the other day on the fact that I heard expats will be limited to staying in Kuwait for only 6 years. I am glad the majority of people think this is a stupid idea. Here is the link to the Arab Times article or click on more to read it here.

If you go to the TV Shows section under the iTunes music store you will now find a lot more shows including Knight Rider, Law & Order, Alfred Hitchcock, Jay Leno, Conan, The Office, Monk, Galactica and more.

Just downloaded a Firefox extension called Fasterfox. Basically what it does is it prefetches links and tweaks the network so pages load considerably faster. What impressed me the most other then the increase in performance was the quality of the extension. Fasterfox has a nice appealing logo and its menu options (located under preferences) are very simple and easy to understand. Pretty cool. [Link]

I got an email from the Belgian Shepherd breeder in Belgium yesterday. He sent me pictures of the puppies and also had some new updates. Turns out he won’t ship us the puppy when they are 7 weeks old, he will ship it to us once it turns 12 weeks old. I think that means I would get the dog mid February which seems too far away. His reason was that he called the Kuwaiti Embassy and they told him the dog needs certain shots before they would let it into the country and he needs to do them before the dog can be shipped. Anyway I have to say, this has to be the ugliest puppy I have seen so far!

Now that Aramex closed their Kuwait City office you need to go pick up your packages from Aardiyah (if you don’t have them delivered to you). Here are the directions to their Aardiyah branch.

When you are coming on the 5th ring road from Salmiya towards Jahra, you will reach Ragii Area (which will be on your right hand), and on your left side you will notice a large Panasonic sign.

Right in front of you there will be a bridge; make a U-turn under the bridge as if you are going back to Salmiya. When you make the U-turn and before you get back on the 5th ring road, you will find an entrance on your right side. Take it and drive 200 meters in and you will find ARAMEX on your left hand. You may turn behind the fire station if you do not wish to pass the sandy area in front of our office.

My dream would be to buy a Killer Instinc arcade machine and shove it in my living room. Only place in Kuwait I know of that still has the Killer Instinct arcade is Showbiz on the seaside. [Link]

I just saw the first pictures of the new Audi TT and its looks pretty… normal. I remember when the original TT came out it grabbed everyones attention because it looked like nothing else. The new Audi TT on the other hand looks a lot safer and regular. [Link]

Heathrow Injection n. Term given to the phenomenon of sudden and very rapid horizontal expansion, particularly experienced by non-British persons, upon settling in London.

Heathrow Injection is an interesting term I just learned the definition to awhile ago and I am thinking it can easily be modified to fit Kuwait since we have the same problem here.
