A while back I noticed some girls were wearing their hijab in a way that makes them look like coneheads. A friend told me it was a new trend and that the way the girls got their “conehead look” was by using cans of Pringles and toilet paper rolls.

Ok I swear this is my last YouTube post for today but I really couldn’t resist posting this. Remember the cheesy music video for the song “Everything OK” which I posted awhile back? I get a ton of strange emails from people who think this site either belongs to Jazeera Airways, MBC or like today, a restaurant at Souk Sharq. Sometimes I find the emails funny and decide to share them with everyone like the one I just received today:

I’m a filipina married to arab man,since you open the Sharq branch me and my family always take a meal 2 times a week, realy the product is good

but i have one complain about one of your staff Filipina cashier “*****” dating w/ different nationality wearing your good uniform. for the past month i did not see *****. but again last week. Had a photo shoot at a school today and while trying to kill time I started reading some wish lists that were stuck on a wall. Most of them were pretty average except for the one above that I found funny. In case you didn’t get it, the kids first wish was a PS3 and his THIRD wish was getting his dad back.

Nataly came home today to find her Apple MacBook in the hallway being chewed on by Geo, or dog. I don’t know what got into his head today but for some reason he took the laptop from the living room and started chewing it. Luckily it seems he only chewed the case since the screen is still working and so is everything else meaning it shouldn’t be too costly to fix (I hope). I still don’t understand how he managed to pick up the laptop off the table and drag it to the hallway…
