Back in Kuwait and feels really good.

As you know Krispy Kreme is giving away free donuts at Marina Mall. Problem is people are having a hard time finding the girl who is giving out the donuts. This is why, using my great mapping skills I have created a map to show the starting route of the donut girl. This is why they are giving tons of donuts away for free at Marina Mall. The employees are currently training on how to make the donuts. In the picture above the employees are watching the donuts roll out of the machine while their trainer explains to them the process.

Again the biggest surprise here is Mac & More. Their prices are slowly creeping closer to zMacShops. Mac City on the other hand I don’t know why they are still open.

So I end my night eating 4 Krispy Kreme donuts (and thats in the car from Marina Mall to my house) only to wake up and come to work and have 4 boxes of Krispy Kreme donuts delivered to my desk. Someone working with Krispy Kreme read my blog and noticed I mentioned I only had the regular glazed donuts so I just got an assortment of various flavors.

I don’t know why I bother trying to diet..

While driving to Maki yesterday at Marina Waves I noticed the Skate Park at the side of the parking lot was open. I had passed it a few times before but the lights were always off but yesterday they were open and some kids were riding their BMX bikes up and down the ramps. On the way out I got a better look (while still driving by in the car) and I noticed the two kids had similar blue helmets and bikes. This is why I am guessing that the park actually rents out bikes, boards, blades and gear. I should probably pass by another day and try to get more details unless a reader already has more details and can share it with us. It looks wayyyy better then the one that used to be located in the basement of the Salmiya palace Hotel.

I first passed by Auto Bullz around a month ago when they first opened and I was pretty impressed. Tonight I passed by for the second time and took a more careful look at the place and it really isn’t as good as I thought it was the first time I went there. Its mostly filled with cheap knockoffs which really sucks. Instead of the pimped out H2 they had on display the last time they now have an MV Augusta motorbike which I personally think is cooler. But really the place is too big, over staffed and just feels cheap.

A friend just informed me that today starting at 7PM Krispy Kreme will be giving away boxes of donuts in Marina Mall near the fountain.

Was just at Sultan Center, seems they have a major phone line problem because all their Knet machines are down and they have “Please Pay Cash” posters all over the place. That can’t be good for business.

I was in Hawalli yesterday when I decided to pass by the store Best Buy Kuwait (not official Best Buy just a copy). Turns out they had the Sony UMPC on display. I had only seen it before online so it was cool seeing it in person. Its super tiny and I really wish Apple would come up with something like it. They were selling it for KD699. [Link]

Got to work today morning to find the building next to my office on fire. What was a sad site though were the low wage workers who were living on the roof of the building. They were all gathered downstairs with whatever possession they had. Most had their belongings wrapped in bed mats while others had those small carryon travel bags and were just sitting on them. Last time the building caught fire it was back in April.

I saw a Ferrari 599 parked outside Salhiya tonight. I thought this car was supposed to go on sale next year? [Link]
