Fahaheel to Abu Halifa 1988
This is the last of the 3 part series. In this video we travel from Fahaheel to Abu Halifa and then take a tour of a grocery store from the inside. What’s cool is you get to see some old packaging like the old Aero chocolate packs that used to be brown, some old KDD packs, and a brief glimpse at my favorite corn flakes, Country Corn Flakes. Good stuff. [YouTube]
In case you missed them here are the first two parts

One of my favorite hobby shops in Kuwait which is the Tamiya dealer was featured on TV. You can check it out above. [YouTube]
Fahaheel in 1988
Due to the great success of the video Abu Halifa 1988, they’ve released the sequel, Fahaheel in 1988. [YouTube]

What it’s like to drive in Dubai
Not sure if this is a real movie or just a spoof but it was done locally. To me it looks like a spoof because of the way the music and sound effects are over exaggerated and because the English subtitles read funny with the music. [YouTube]

The video above is one of Conan’s five favorite YouTube videos ever. [YouTube]

Red Bull Drift – Kuwait
Even though the weather was horrible on Friday the Red Bull drift challenge still took place and judging by the video it seemed pretty packed. [YouTube]
Abu Halifa in 1988
Some random footage someone shot of Abu Halifa back in 1988 before the Gulf War. There is something eerie about the video. [YouTube]
Seems the dance off is on. Last week I posted a video of local McDonalds employees doing a pretty impressive dance routine and this week Caribou Coffee have their own video up. So which video is better? McDonalds without a doubt. Lets wait and see who will challenge them next. [YouTube]
This is a comedy I can’t wait to watch.
Four Lions tells the story of a group of British jihadists who push their abstract dreams of glory to the breaking point. As the wheels fly off, and their competing ideologies clash, what emerges is an emotionally engaging (and entirely plausible) farce. In a storm of razor-sharp verbal jousting and large-scale set pieces, Four Lions is a comic tour de force; it shows that-while terrorism is about ideology-it can also be about idiots.

Not bad at all, they were entertaining enough that I watched the full 10 minutes. Would be pretty cool if there was a local dance off against other fast food joints like Burger King, KFC, Hardees etc.. although I think the McDonalds employees would win easily. [YouTube]
