I was on my way to lunch in Nibaq’s car when he noticed what looked like a large TV screen outside the Kuwaiti Stock Exchange. So, after lunch we decided to drive by it and there it was, a huge ass TV screen right outside. The location of it is really terrible though, there is a large tree right in front of it and I was only able to see the screen by climbing out of his sun roof and having him park his car right underneath it. They should seriously remove the tree or else this thing is useless.

Yesterday I was at Marina Mall and I noticed Dairy Queen at the food court shutdown. I guess it was bound to happen, last time I ate there the bread was old and the burger seemed raw. Then whenever I asked them for a chili dog they kept telling me they were out of it. I hope they open Wendeys instead.

Seems like an interesting site, haven’t had time to fully check it though. They recently setup a forum where photographers can share pictures and tips.[Link]

I was just cleaning up my mac when I found a video of a fight between the Qadsia soccer team and I think a Bahraini team. Its a fight that happened 2 years ago maybe where the Qadsia team kick the other teams ass. [Video Link]

I am back from todays shoot. Was out in the sun since 9AM. I asked Nat to give me our sunblock in the morning but she couldn’t remember where she put it so now I look like a tomato, my face and neck are burnt. Thank you nat!

I woke up at 7AM also today. Something is wrong with the AC. Yesterday the guy came and gave it a full cleaning and it was working perfectly, and then suddenly I wake up today morning all hot and stuff. Now the AC is just giving out air and the hot is really hot. I hope I can find the guy so he can come fix it because I can’t spend the weekend at home like this.

I have a photoshoot in 30 minutes I have to go to. Its going to be shot on a boat which means I have to be on that boat. I don’t know how long the shoot is going to take but I didn’t take any anti sickness medication or anything. Last time I loaded up on pills and it didn’t do shit so today I am planning on going without any medication but with a lot of mental readiness. OK, tonight I found out I have a 5 day long photography shoot coming up. It starts on Wednesday 8AM and ends sometime next week. The worse part about this is the first shoot on Wednesday will be on a 70 foot yacht and you know how much I hate boats. I don’t know or should I say I don’t think I will be able to update the blog during the mornings like I usually do so I will probably be posting during the evenings. Its going to be a really hectic week…

Just got back from Aramex, first good news is the guy who used to collect money has been relocated to another branch and Shop and Ship customers no longer have to deal with him. Seems a lot of people complained about him. Second good news is they will be moving from Emirates airlines to Kuwait Airways which means packages will arrive to Kuwait faster AND they will be going back to mailing out packages 3 times a week instead of 2 which they are doing now.

Just read this article in Arab Times where they are talking about building a rail system in Kuwait in preparation for the major traffic congestion we will be facing in the upcoming future. Now the cool thing in the article is they are proposing the futuristic Personal Rapid Transit (PRT) to connect major buildings. It was the first time I had heard about it so I did a bit of research and this thing is like super cool. Its like mini trains that hold around 4 people for example, and if you are say at the main NBK branch in Kuwait City and you want to go to Souk Sharq for lunch, instead of taking the car you just hop into one of these tiny air conditioned capsules and tell it to go to Souk Sharq and it will take you. This system just requires major buildings to be connected via tracks and you no longer need to your car to travel from your building to another down the street.
