The Kuwait Advertising Awards are being held tomorrow at 6PM and its supposed to be formal wear. Who the fuck gets dressed formally for an evening out at 6PM? Why didn’t they make the awards show at like 9 or 10PM? Most of the agencies finish work at 5 or 5:30 but no one usually makes it out before 6PM. Even if I make it out at 5:30 by the time I get home its already 6 and then I need to shower, get dressed and leave it would already be 7PM!

Anyway, I hope I am allowed not to go to it. I really don’t like social events.

Update: Its NOT formal. Nat told me formal and she heard it from her agency but its not true.

– Eclipse is finally coming to Kuwait, new model on display
– Renault Megane convertible on display
– Nissan Tiida and Toyota Yaris on display
– Lots of vintage cars on display
– Renault has their F1 car on display
– Lexus has a concept car called the LFX on display
– New 2006 Nissan Pathfinder on display

I just got the following message with bad punctuation about a rock concert that will take place in Kuwait but it doesn’t even say where the place is and I have no clue who sent it to me:

Results? Out of atleast 10 games we played, Team Damen didn’t even come close to winning a single one! We totally got our asses kicked. Next time we should split up Team Da Hui and mix and match between their team and ours. We are no competition at the moment. The grudge match between Ripping Fabric and Fadibou resulted in Ripping Fabric winning.

This is Round 3 of the official Halo 2 Summer Frag Fest 2005 hosted by 2:48AM. This week we will have a new commer to our team, Edjamacated Guy who will be joining our side, Team Damen. This week there will also be a 1-on-1 personal grudge match between Fadibou and Ripping Fabric. There game will be best of 3 with a 25 kill limit and it should prove interesting to watch. Feel the “voile bleue”, “edde sands” & “oceana” atmosphere…this Friday the 22nd at Shiik Flamingo resort in Salmiya. The event will include beach volley ball, street ball and mini football tournaments in addition to water activities, open air barbecue, kids playgrouds, beach party and other entertaining activities. This is one concert I would love to go to, maybe they will come out with a DVD for it. Starting July 6th at the Hollywood Bowl, the first major U.S. concert tour featuring music from a variety of the most popular video games will begin.

The announced game titles for the 2005 tour are:
Mario, Zelda, Halo, Metal Gear Solid, Warcraft, Myst, Castlevania, Medal of Honor, God of War, Kingdom Hearts, Sonic, Tron, Tomb Raider, Advent Rising, Headhunter, Beyond Good & Evil, Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon, Rainbow Six, EverQuest II and a special retro arcade segment that goes from Pong to Donkey Kong!
