This is why I love YouTube, you find completely random useless videos which you end up watching. This one is of a guy in Kuwait trying to break some sort of random record… eating 7 Ferrero Rocher chocolates in under a minute. Location: Gas Station! [YouTube]
PS: I can EASILY eat 7 Rochers in a minute!
Update: Just tried it. It is more difficult then I expected but I managed to eat 6 rochers in 46.97 seconds (just got two packs of 3). I unwrapped them all first since it’s a waste of time to unwrap with the clock ticking. The hardest part is the chewing. I think I could even swallow faster the next time i try this.
In case you want to replicate this test. Start the stop watch then grab the first Rocher. Stop the stop watch once you finish swallowing all the Rochers.
It wasn’t very upsetting for me to watch but Nat isn’t going to eat fish ever again so don’t watch this if you get grossed out easily. [YouTube]

Update: I messaged the guy asking about the price and he replied saying how much I would pay, I replied asking what the best price was. He then replied saying for a Kuwaiti KD1000 while for a non Kuwaiti just KD800.
Update2: When I didn’t reply he messaged me back asking if it was too much. I told him it was and the best I could offer was KD500. Surprisingly he went down to KD650.
Update3: I asked him why he wanted to sell it, he wouldn’t tell me just said it was a personal problem. It’s sad, he must be desperate. Told him not to sell it and that it was very illegal to do but he just responded with a “Thank You”.

At first I thought it was just on that floor but it was the same on every floor. Reminded me of the picture below which I took outside the Kuwait airport a few years ago.

Where did they go?
The other day I posted about the new bollards (poles) that were being installed in the area around my office in Kuwait City. They really didn’t fit in with their environment and it looked like a lot of money was wasted on them. Well one of my blog readers just made me realize that they’re not there anymore. I saw some guys working on them this morning when I was coming in to work and figured they were just properly fixing them but it seems they were removing them. Strange, just like that they’re gone, not a single one left behind. Hmmmm…
Teddy On The Go is an interesting social experiment by a Kuwaiti architecture student that recently moved back to Kuwait. To keep herself in check and out of a routine she decided to start the website Teddy on the Go as a way to motivate her into doing something interesting or new everyday and also as a way of expressing her opinions subtly through the bear.
