There is a guy going around trying and reviewing every Taco in LA. I want to do the same in Kuwait except I want to try and review every shawerma. That would be so awesome! [Link]

A list of things which do not actually constitue a valid April Fools’ Day joke taken from Anil Dash:
“I changed my stylesheet! To someone else’s!” Why isn’t that funny? Because I still knew it was your site.
“Our tiny company bought/got bought by a giant company. Like Microsoft!” Wow, that’s lame. Neither believable nor surprising enough to be amusing.
“We are embracing this thing we’ve demonized forever!” So you’re a pest removal service that’s getting into the cockroach-raising business? Sigh.
“We have a big announcement today!” No you don’t. It’s Saturday.
“Our new product does the impossible.” You mean like making an April Fool’s joke on the web that’s actually funny.
I was actually planning on changing my stylesheet to something funnier before I read this list. Nibaq already pulled the second one today.
I passed by my favorite videogame store in Rihab Complex yesterday. I wanted to get Sonic Rush for my Nintendo DS and also check out the new DS Lite while I was at it. So I went into the store and shook hands with the owner and he asks me why I haven’t been passing by. I was honest and I told him that I am just downloading games right off the web. He was like yeah thats the best thing to do, but I got the feeling he wasn’t very pleased. Ok so this post isn’t as dramatic as the the title made it out to be…
The highest amount of visitors the site received in one day last month was on March 3rd with 6,989 unique visitors. The lowest amount of visitors in one day was 4,087 and that was on March 31th. The average amount of visitors per day for March was 4,912 compared to 4,799 for February. The total amount of visitors in the month of March was 152,277 compared to February’s 134,375. For more details you can check the [Website Stats].
Today I passed by Aramex to pick up some old packages I had lying over at their place plus to pick up the package Ananyah sent me earlier in the month. She told me she was sending me a cookie monster doll which from the picture looked like some cool tiny phone sized thingy. To my shock the doll turned out to be pretty big and not only that she sent me two fucking cookie monster dolls, a cookie monster tshirt, a gift for Nibaq AND a whole bunch of chocolate munchies for Nat! Really cool stuff and best of all Geo is having a blast playing with whats left of the colorful wrapping paper and packaging. Thank you Ananyah!!
Another cool thing I found on flickr, the pictures above were taken on a beach in Kuwait by Psycho Milt. They are both pictures of the same car except the first one was taken back in September and the second one taken mid March. Pretty cool.
Also if you like shots of crashed cars, Psycho Milt has a whole bunch of them which he shot here in Kuwait. You can check those out by clicking the links below:
I was flipping through flickr when I found pictures of this guys room at the Hilton Resort in Mangaf. The guy I think works with the US military and has atleast 5 laptops in there with a whole bunch of equipment that would fit nicely with Jack Bauer. You can see the pictures on the guys flickr account by clicking [here] but I also saved the images and linked them below incase he decides to remove them.
I just heard that Totally Fish has now opened at Marina Crescent.
So its final, Arrested Development will not be coming back ever again. Reading this article though made me feel better about it, atleast now we know its over for sure. Actually I am lying, I am still sad about this. [Link]

As most of you know you can’t use Firefox with Watani online, so I called customer support and they gave me an email I should send my complaint to, [email protected]
This is the email I just sent:
Hi, I spoke with an IT person earlier and he advised me to email you my complaint.
I am a Mac user and I can’t access Watani Online. When I try to access Watani Online with Firefox or Safari it tells me to download Internet Explorer. But when I went to the Microsoft site to download Internet Explorer I got a message saying the following:
INTERNET EXPLORER FOR MAC NO LONGER AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD
In June 2003, the Microsoft Macintosh Business Unit announced that Internet Explorer for Mac would undergo no further development, and support would cease in 2005. In accordance with published support lifecycle policies, Microsoft ended support for Internet Explorer for Mac on December 31st, 2005, and is not providing any further security or performance updates.Accordingly, as of January 31st, 2006, Internet Explorer for the Mac is no longer available for download from Microsoft. It is recommended that Macintosh users migrate to more recent web browsing technologies such as Apple’s Safari.
https://www.microsoft.com/mac/products/internetexplorer/internetexplorer.aspx
But when I use Safari I get an error and I can’t use IE because its not available anymore. Could you please allow Mac users to access Watani Online with FireFox or Safari. If not could NBK provide its customers with a CD that contains Internet Explorer for the Mac. But again, I am thinking that if Microsoft is recommending Safari it means IE on the Mac isn’t secure in the first place so I am not sure I would like to use IE anyway to access my bank records.
Awaiting your reply
If you are a mac user and have a complaint send it to the same email address.
Nataly just called me from the airport, her Emirates flight was delayed and arrived 45 minutes late! So let me get this right, last week my sister faced delays when she flew with Emirates to Dubai and back. A couple of days ago Nat’s flight to Dubai using Emirates got delayed over 2 hours, and now, on her way back to Kuwait it got delayed 45 minutes. Why is this the best airline in the world again?
Summer is here and guess what just arrived at my doorstep… 2 liters of Boozah Boozah ice-cream. Boozah Boozah belongs to the same group of young Kuwaitis that own Choowy Goowy cookies. I will have some ice-cream tomorrow night when Nat comes back from Dubai and then probably post a review.
